| Flight approved carrier?? for NEW BABY!!! OK, for those of you who dont know, I AM GETTING HOPE! From Linda.. I am flying up there on September 5 but I have no idea what kind of carrier is actually APPROVED... she has her "puppy ticket" and I know the dimensions but do they accept soft, purse like carriers? d

| I think it's the dimensions you need to worry about as it needs to fit under the seat in front of you. I would check with the airline... I know some of the Celltei carriers state that they are airline approved, if you don't want to buy one of those, you could use them as a guide in what to look for maybe?

| We used our Celltei bag for Jaxon and it was fine. They need to have a leak proof bottom. Check the website for the airline you're flying or give them a call. They should have all the info you'll need.

| Check with the airlines for sure. But another thing is they have to be completely enclosed. I have a soft one that has mesh on the sides that I take on the plane. AA told me leak proof, enclosed, and they do a check to make sure the dog is comfortable in it. Congrats and Best of Luck!!! |

| As mentioned soft sides are fine, but they have to be inclosed can not have an open top. And make sure your fur baby will be able to stand up in it. One of the airline rules. I had gotten a really cute pink one for Phoebe at Petco. It was light weight. I had no problem on American Airlines. I just ordered a Celltei for Annie. I really like what they have done with their carriers. They are spendy but I can already tell you that I will be way happier with the Celltei. You can check their web site at www.celltei.com I ordered the pak o pet xs Good luck and congrats!!!

| I wont use a closed carrier but probably one or twice. I have an open top already for her! I dont want to spend alot, but I want something that she will be comfortable in... I was just really worried about getting there and them not letting me bring her... WOW that would be BAD.... I would have to stay in Ohio... o well.. LOL
