| Divider/Gate etc. I am looking for a divider or gate to put in the great room/kitchen area. The kitchen area is opened up to the dining room area and living room area. I want to keep Dezi away from that area. The area is so wide that I am not able to find a gate wide enough that will block the area. Any recommendations? |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | hmmm...I was going to suggest a baby gate but if you have a wide entry way, have you checked your local feed/ranch store? Maybe you can get a wide pannel to cover the area.

| I had the same problem and what I did was use an X pen that I did not connect together and it unwinds to about 10ft(I think, I am lousy on measurements).

| This is what I have throughout my house and really like them. I did buy them off Ebay but you also might want to check Amazon/pet supplies to get different prices. I also got my large Xpen through ebay. Kidco Center Gateway - 29 1/4"-37 1/2" Extensions available A Pressure Gate with a Center Walk-Through Door Details... (# 2240) $89.95 $79.95

| Madeline, I used a baby gate from Kmart. It was $10 and it served us great. It was a tension gate and you just put it in the doorway and turn the latch down. It's wooden, sorry don't have a pic, but I do know that any kmart in the city has them. Kept a baby and a dog out of the kitchen for years! |
