Catsare easily restrained with ChokeFree and the Step-N-Wrap design is easy to puton & take off. A harness, instead of a collar, is recommended for restrainingdogs susceptible to tracheal collapse so that pressure is not applied to theneck, forechest or airway area. SIZING The preferred methodof selecting the proper size ChokeFree is to try it on the pet. ChokeFreeshould be fitted such that it allows enough room to be comfortable withoutallowing so much room that the pet can back out or otherwise wriggle out of theshoulder collar. In order to size ChokeFree without the pet, a measuring tapeshould be placed around the pet just behind the front legs and an exactmeasurement should be noted. An additional one inch should then be added to theexact measurement to allow for comfort. SIZES: 8",9", 10", 11", 12", 13", 14", 15", 16",17", 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24",25", 26", 27", 28" A Pet that measures anexact 14” behind the front legs should fit into the 14” ChokeFree, but theshoulder collar would most likely fit snuggly and the additional inch usuallyprovides enough room to allow for comfort. |

Hi! I was wondering if you could post a pic of a collar opened up, laid flat, both sides please... and do you have matching 6 ft leashes? More specifically, on the 21 and 22 inch harnesses, how long are the center pieces that go between the front legs? TIA... |

There are matching leashes and pawriders (a way to attach to seat belt in car) They are not the best pictures.. but you can see how they are shaped. I have a 22 inch for my Bailey.. I will measure and get back to you on the space. I will note the plain leather is soft and flexable. Thank you for looking:) |

Hi I am posting pictures of Bailey's 22 inch harness. I have a tape measure in the picture to give you reference. Attachment 372034 Attachment 372035 Attachment 372036 Attachment 372037 This is plain leather, it does not have a backing like the other finishes do. Because of not having a backing it is softer and a little bit more flexable.. I have the other leathers for Remy and they are really nice also just a little bit thicker. I clean it with saddle soap. |

Oh..I love the Choke Free for walking too. It seems cooler when it's so hot out. I really love the baby blue with the pink flower. Is this a soft leather one? I need to measure Zhoie to see if a 12 or 13 would work best. Is there a matching lease for the baby blue with pink flower...6 ft? |

I use a choke-free harness with Roxie and we just love it. In fact, after using it for a while, I had to buy a back up because I did not want to run the risk of being without it. Both are the pink leather one. I would be interested in finding out more about the matching leads (6 ft. Preferred) and the thing that attaches to the seat belt. Thanks! |
Hi all I just received an answer form the choke free pet.. They only make the 4 ft leash... 5/16' 1/2'and 3/4. The leashes are $14.00 for plain leather and $15.00for the other leathers Thanks Shinja |

How do you order these choke free harnesses? I love the raspberry/flowers.....how do you measure for size and pay? Sorry for so many question! Teeka will need one for this spring and I an not sure on the size. She is 10 inches around her girth or just behind her front legs. |

These almost look like the same leather as the buddy belt...but much cheaper in price. Jersey doesn't have a harness yet, I love the raspberry colour, that would look really nice on her. |

I like the harness not toooo snug so I do add 1 inch to the measurement. If I plan on her wearing it by itself I have ordered true to size, but with the extra inch you can put it over simple tshirt and such. More than an inch would be too loose Hope that helps |

Riley has 2 of the choke free harnesses. One in Blue and one in Black. He also has 2 Buddy Belts. I like the choke free ones better because he does choke with his Buddy Belt on if he pulls too much. He usually only does that when we are first heading outside because he's soo Excited!! Of course He doesn't choke at all in the choke free and it is Softer and I really think he likes the comfort of it better. |
Riley is 14" around right behind his shoulders so I ordered a 15" and it fits him perfect |
