The slit is actually about double the length of the D ring so there's about an inch or so of adjustment. :)

Awesome! This info really helps me, as Connor, especially has really thick hair when it gets longer. I keep Neo in a t-shirt, as his allergies has him scratching when he doesn't have one on. I'm really interested in getting both CF and BB for the boys!.

You will love it. The bright color looks fantastic and the harness isn't stiff like most real leather harnesses.

I have one of each kind of the CFH. I think they all are a soft leather. But Shinja may be of more help to you. I love the CFH!

I am just seeing the activity on this thread. Sorry that I haven't responded.

I love the raseberry!!! It is the unlined style It is 100% leather but soft like a glove. I recomend ordering true to size (order to the size the pup measures, round up if measurement is 1/2 over)..don't add for ease.. because it will streatch a little.. like a leather shoe

they are not that adjustable that is why they are offered in a lot of sizes. With that being said we like our's allot. They seem comfortable for Lola, easy to put and very safe.

Before buying any harness you should decide if you want to put it directly on the dog or over an outfit. If you want to put it over something like a heavy coat or sweater you will probably need a larger size. I prefer to put Lola's clothes over the harness so I bought it in black to blend in with her hair this way it does not stick out under her clothing. I also sew a horizontal button hole in outfits that don't come with a d ring opening.

I find them adjustable enough to wear under or over t shirts or other lightweight outfits if I choose. I prefer underneath but sometimes it can't be helped. They are adjustable by almost an inch, as Sherry said.

Oh I love these as well...also interested in the cost of shipping to Canada...I think this is probably just the ticket for when the weather gets hot and humid. I'll be placing an order soon as well.

I also like these for swimming and beach days :thumbup: Great for dirty dawg days :cool:

They would be awesome for Rainy Day Potty Breaks so as not to ruin a leather harness as well :D

I think they can be shipped to Canada. Shinja will give you the pricing if that option is available.

hi

The harness cost about double of mailing a letter (if I remember about $3.00??)... mainly because the package is a bit bigger.

The paw rider (the seat belt attachment with a tetter) or if you have several harness in one package is a bit more, but still between $5.00 and $10.00.

You would measure right behind the front legs. The plain and metallic harness are not lined and the leather will season a bit (like a good pair of leather shoes) so I would only go up if the measurement is between inches... (for example the dog measures 11 1/2 inch buy a 12 inch) or if you like to put the harness over clothing etc.

If you are looking at the corc or ost I add an inch for ease.
