My bag is fully vented along the top, but it also has a piece that comes across the venting so that you can't see the dog in the bag. I haven't used it yet with that piece. The photo that I took of Kate is with her head coming out of one of openings in the venting. There are a lot of areas where air can get into the bag, but it also looks like a regular handbag when it is closed up properly. They sell a gel mat for both of these bags that is cooling for the pups.

It looks like a great bag! I have a cooling mat that I think will fit in the bottom of my KB bags and this one

Very tempting!! Too bad I had 2 weeks of no pay for the month of June. I had to make my mom happy and go to Mexico with her. Otherwise, I'd be all over this bag and the coolig mats.

There is a bag that is by jaraden ..looks almost like a soho but Has a chain Handle and a ostrich finish. same price and same size. I am on my iPad but when I am at the pc I will post pictures.
