Her little legs come through the neck in the xs, but ruff ruff couture's stuff might run smaller. Her measurements are 6.5 " neck, 10" chest, and 8 inches long and her weight is 2.5 lbs. Is this pretty close to the measurements of your chi dog that this size fits? Also do you have any boy's clothes available or that can be ordered? Thanks so much!!!!

Hi Michelle,
i do have several other styles of Ruff Ruff couture in size XS . they would all be the same price 15.00. plus shipping.
my Chihuahua, latte, wears this XS and it fits her alittle snug, but the material is stretchy so it fits her good and is comfy.
not sure you are familiar with this make. it is the best make of ready made dog clothes. the quality is so nice! it really is my favorite.
Latte has a big neck for a little dog... its 8" , her chest is 11, and her length is 9. so , her measures do seem alittle bigger than you baby, but still i think this size would be the best for your girl.
i can get the XXS , the lady i get these from does have this size. but i have never ordered this size because it is so tiny. i think for when you baby was a puppy @ 1 pound. i think it would fit snug or tight on her now.
did you see the first pic of a bunny hoodie? thats made by little lily and latte is modeling it. its baby blue. its has a hello kitty on it. i have that one in size XS for a boy in blue and for a girl in pink.
i have a bunch of cute boy tops that are little lily make for sale. what size did you need? the same as the girl size?
i will check in a little while to see what i have in ruff ruff couture in XS and that runs small. some XS run bigger and some run smaller. the hampton dress runs smaller. i do have the sorbet hoodie and that runs smaller. i have the shopping dress hoodie and that also runs smaller.
i have and can get a bunch in XS . the lady i get these from has alot in that size. but i bought up all of the size S so for anyone else reading this, i have very limited availabe in size S and can not get anymore.

just checked to see what i have.. and measured them also. the neck would not be too big like you described in the xs walmart dresses.
the length on some will be perfect and some may be up to an inch too long.. and the girth will be roomy but i dont think will look too big. they mostly all measure around 11 inches but i think for a yorkie having all that hair, its nice for them not to fit roomy.
i would not recommend the XXS in ruff ruff. i think it will be too snug

just curious , how old is your girl?

here are the ones i have here. sorbet hoodie, shopping dress, scarlett dress, butterfly dress, little piggy dress, cotton candy dress, sally dress, hampton dress and first pooch top

i do have some others i didnt advertise here. they are by the make little lily. they are stored away so will take me awhile to see what i have. this make runs smaller than the ruff ruff couture.

Oh thank you for checking!! Im about to pull up the pics of all of the clothes now. I was actually online ordering some ruff ruff couture and happened to click over to this site to check something and saw your post about the clothes last night. My little boy is bigger than my girl. He is 4.5 pounds and has neck of 7.5 chest 12-12.5 and length is 9.5". Both of these two that I'm checking on the clothes for are actually teacup poodles. My little girl is Bijoux and my little boy is Bentley. I rescue dogs also, and I joined this site to get some information and read some about yorkies for a potential new foster baby that is most likely coming here soon.

But thank you so much for your info on the sizing!!! On the site I was ordering I had looked at the size chart and was uncertain of what to do for Bijoux bc the xxs goes to 2.5 pounds but like you, I wondered if it would be too tight. So it is extremely helpful to talk to someone who has experience with the sizing of this line prior to ordering and getting it wrong. And this help me know that I should probably go to the small for Bentley. I'm also ordering some Monkey Daze stuff online and that sizing seems to run small too according to the sizing chart.

Oh, oops forgot to answer you, Bijoux just turned one, and Bentley just made two.

thank you . if you really want to get the XXS , i can order them. i think i can get them in all the styles i listed that i have. i also can get a few other styles i didnt list. i have the leopard and the zebra also. they may run alittle bit bigger though. and the ellie dress, the gelato dress, the sushine dress in both pink and purple. the neck on the strappy ones may run alittle bigger.

i also have some adorable little lily dresses that are xs. little lily runs small, so xs would fit. theres a couple dressses that fit my latte but are alittle snug and short i could recommend. a pink hello kitty balerina dress and this other pink dress with a satin sash and lace that is my favorite by little lily . lol. so many choices. let me know if your intersted in any of those ones.

it sounds like your boy would be a size small. in ruff ruff couture i dont have anythink in small for a boy and i dont think my friend who i get these from does either. i might have a couple little lily tops. the ones i showed you in the picuture were all xs.

Oh I am sooooo glad you let me know about the other styles!! I love the Ellie dress and Im definitely getting it and I'm figuring out what others right now. with the Ellie, I can add the matching stuff for my little boy. Obviously, I will have to pay alot more, but at least I will have the option to add him some matching stuff to that and the hampton. I'm sooo excited. I am figuring this out now, and I will get back to you in a few minutes. thanks!!!

Your boy clothes are adorable!! But I do agree with you that they would probably be too small for my little guy. I think he needs a small. Thanks for checking though!!! and if your friend is ever able to get any ruff ruff couture in the boys, I would definitely be interested!! One last question about the girl's clothes..... do you still have any lady bug dresses available? and if so what size? ...also are the ruff ruff dresses new or used? Thanks so much for all of your help!!

the ruff ruff dresses are in excellent used condition. maybe only worn a couple times. this is why i was able to buy them at such a great price.
and yes, i do have ladybug dresses left in size XS. the lady bug dress, and the ellie dress have those thin straps and that why i think they are more roomy in the neck part.
i have the pixie dress also and the cherry dress with rhinestone cherries on front.

like i said before... if you really prefer, i think i can get all of these in the XXS. i never actually
saw an XXS in person. but am very familiar with the size XS. i never bothered to order any because it is rare that anyone has a dog that tiny. i think they are more for a one pound dog.
the size small... when i look at the size chart i think it isnt accurate. because i wouldnt recommend the size small for a dog much over 5 pounds and i think the size chart does. and my largest dog should fit into a size medium according to that chart , and the medium is too small on her. so alot depends on the shape of your dog also, not just the weight

I think that you are right about the size. Its always hard to know what to do without trying it on!!! She is a little hard to fit because her body truly is tiny but she is long. I put 8" on her length but I was wrong she is actually right at almost 9" long. So some x smalls swallow her in the circumference and arm holes and otherd dont. But like you said, I do think it depends on the individual designer and their sizing. I have looked at this line extensively, but I haven't ordered any for her prior to this. And you have experience with this size, so I will definitely take your advice and try the xs.

One quick question regarding the cherry dress.... Is it the "Bridgette"(red w/ rhinestone cherry and cherry patterned black skirt or the solid pink with the rhinestone cherry?

ok, so thats better that she is almost 9 inches long because Latte is 9 inches and the XS is a good length for her. i was afraid that the size XS might be an inch too long on her but now that you say she is almost 9 . it sounds perfect. the biggest difference in Latte and your girl is the neck and some of the styles fit Latte alittle snug in the neck. the ones that are styled like the Ellie and the Ladybug dress fit her more roomy. the hampton dress style is alittle more snug.
on the cherry dress. its not the red w/ rhinestone. i have that one for my other chihuahua but those are not available, she only had the one for me. its the solid pink one with the rhinestone cherry.
i have some winter ruff ruff dresses also if you are interested... i have the delicious dress, the one with the gingerbread man, theres a plaid one with a teddy bear , and a blue plaid with a cameo. lol. we have a big variety. we have most of them acutally. there are a bunch we dont have , but we have most in size XS. i wish we had the bigger sizes too

Elaine,
That red dress with cherries is soooo cute....it's one of my favorites and I am sure your dog looks absolutely adorable in it!!!! I'm so sorry to keep bombarding you with questions!!!! Thanks soooo much for all of your help!!! I absolutely am interested in some of the winter as well. I didn't even realize you had other styles. I'm sooooo excited!! I'm planning on ordering several. I'm online trying to look at the boy's coordinating outfits to decide which I am going to get. Because needless to say, his are going to cost quite a bit more. Also, I think I have all of the styles written down that you have. I've been keeping list since we started going. Only one I was't certain of was did you have double bubble dress also or no? I for some reason thought you did, but Idon't see it on the list I made. Thanks soooo much!!

i love that double bubble dress and really want that one myself. unfortunately i do not have it. but there are others i can get that i didnt mentiion. like lil bit country, afternoon tea, the other cherry dress that doesnt have rhinestones but shaped like the afternoon tea.
maybe seeing you never had a ruff ruff dress, just order one or two, see how the fit is, and if its good you could always get more!
you do sound like me though. i had to have one of each of everything i loved for my girls. i have a bigger girl who is over 9 pounds. she's the one i tried the size Medium on and was too snug on her even though the size chart said it would fit. i'm planning on ordering her some ruff ruff dresses so she can match my little ones and i will be paying alot for those size larges.
i know i only advertised a small amount of the ruff ruff styles on here because most people are not familiar with the ruff ruff but seeing you sound very familiar with looking at the styles in the boutique shops, i thought i'd let you know all the choices. and i dont mind at all that you are asking questions. i like it actually . i really love everything about these dog clothes and enjoy talking about them and enjoy selling them. so, take your time and let me know and ask more questions if you'd like.
i hope i get to see some pics of your girl in some of these cute dresses , also would love to see the matching pics of your boy!

Elaine,
I know that dress is too cute, right?!!! Ok thank you sooo much for letting me know about the other styles.. I'm going to look them up right now. As you can tell I have spent hours online shopping to decide on clothes for my new baby. Shes only been here since Christmas. So she doesn't have much of a wardrobe, and I also want to get some things that I can match my little guy to.
There are several I want. I might order a few to make sure they fit ok, and then order the rest. Or, maybe I'll just do them all now. I promise I will get this together. I am the worst at decisions!!! They are just all sooooo cute!! I'm sooo fortunate to have found you on here!!! I had been lookiing at the Ruff Ruff and the Louis Dog clothes and I loved both of them. But, as you know they can be pricey!! So again, thanks!! I'm going to look up the other styles now!!
