Sorry to read that you're not very pleased w/the Madan products. If the products were not used, then you have the option to return them for a refund or exchange (minus the shipping charges).
The main reason the prices are going up is because other sites selling the Madan products were complaining to the company that I was selling them at a very low price. They gave me an ultimatum that they will not sell their products to me if I was not going to raise them. So I had no other choice than to raise them.

The steel tail comb can be used if it's in a 45 degree or lower angle when parting hair. I agree, it looks very sharp & is only recommended for pups that will sit still during use.

The band scissors do seem flimsy because of the plastic handles, but it cuts very well. Make sure to use the curved part to 'snag' the band & gently pull it away from the top knot & cut w/the other side (that's the part that cuts). It only has one bladed side.

It's not Jenny, Madan themselves are going up on the prices. She is offering YT a discount. I've never seen anyone so helpful as Jenny with their products. She goes above & beyond to answer any questions you may have before ordering.

I have the steel tail comb & very pleased with it. The steel part is meant to be used to divide the hair as in putting up topnot, etc. I never would use to part coat against their skin. The comb would work for that.

I also find that the band scissors work great for cutting out rubber bands. Actually I just used it this past weekend for a project. I used to cut thread in elastic bands that were on a pair of shoes that I didn't want the elastic on anymore. The way the handle is made & the angle of the blades is what helps to get in tight places.

I also have both regular pin brush & oblong pin brush. Bella definitely doesn't mind me brushing with these vs others. I've been very pleased.
