| I got my crate from Petedge.com they were the cheapest I could find. My friend made the cover as a Christmas gift, it turned out so good. I have seen some on etsy.com. Or I could ask her if she will make you one if you like let me know. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | If you are looking for wire crates....try walmart. I have been pleased with how the wire crates I purchased from Walmart have held up. (I can not make a recommendation for crate covers....I just bought some material (fleece in the winter, cotton in the spring) on sale and cut two long pieces that would wrap across both ways.....nothing fancy, but gets the job done.)

| If you don't mind waiting for about a week, get crates on Petedge.com. They sell them at wholesale prices. They may have crate covers there too, but if not, they have them at petsmart.

| Why do you use crate covers? When I first got Lily I tried everything to get her to stay in her crate and I did cover it w/sheet 1/2 way but it didn't help. Do you cover them to help them want to be in them?? She hates her crate!!lol I just wondered if a "cover" would be something to make her like it??lol |

crate covers can be used for a few reasons. 1. decorative purposes. sometimes people like to cover the crate to go with their decor. 2. have u ever put a blanket over a bird cage and sudden the birds get quiet and go to sleep? KINDA the same concept. makes the dogs feel more secure and comfortable (dogs are naturally denning animals) and can help them calm down sometimes. 3. as someone else mentioned... keeps them from sticking their paws through the bars. and im sure theres more reasons people use them also!
