Are these little pillows, or do they actually have heat warmers in them?

These have rice in them. Put them in the microwave for max 5 mins, place under the blanket and they keep your baby warm, and no cords.

It keeps them warm for about 2 hours or so? And its small enough to keep in the microwave? sorry for the crazy ?'s.

The two and a half hours was set out on my table, near a window my daughter cracked open. grrrr. lol. With it under my doggies blankets and in their little house, it stays warm for about 5-6 hours.

They're filled with rice? Just normal cooking rice and nothing else? Ive never heard of rice heating up like that.. haha

About how long would it take to receive one?

What kind of fabric do you use? Won't the warmer be lumpy since it's filled with rice or do you use some type of liner?

1)they run approx 8x9
2) YES! Shipping is included!
3) I can sew it up the day you order and get it in the mail the next day

4) I use cotton fabric, as far as being lumpy, it isn't really. It is hard to explain how it feels, but not lumpy or hard, there is enough room for the rice to move around and be adjusted.

I had a lady make one for ME that had field corn in it. I love it, and it works great. I love your fabrics and the size (heart shaped would be so great!)

I'd actually thought about it for the pups, but I was concerned with what would happen if they chewed on a corner of it and created a hole (my older one is notorious for that - feathers from the comforter everywhere!). If the rice fell out, would they eat it? If they did ingest some of it, would it be dangerous to them?

If you like, I can do a double fabric for you ( or any notorious chewers ) I will put a plain fabric inside and then the one of your choice for the outside.

I don't have chewers, so, I can not really say. I dropped some of the rice and they did not seem interested in it at all. Let me know if this sounds good to you, and if you have any suggestions, I am open to them!

I'm thinkin' about it. It's gonna be cold this winter. And since everyone sleeps with us, it might help warm the whole bed!!
