| What kind of collar? I'm curious to know what kinds of collars, harnesses, and leads you found work the best and are the most comfortable for your Yorkie. I'd like to get something durable, such as leather, but if it's going to be uncomfortable I'd rather go with something else. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | For harnesses, I love the Buddy Belt (leather) - they're smashing! Leads, bleh, no preference. Collars (for tags only!) - Wylie has a rolled leather collar and Marcel has the canvas cat-type collar (bc it's lightweight, he's so tiny).

| I do not use a harness, but Aubreys leash and collar I got a Vera Bradley one. It has held up great. The only problem is if its a light color it will fade/sorda look dirty. |

| I use rolled leather collars only to hold their name tag, and the rolled leather does not matt the hair. They have travel harnesses that is padded at the sternum for protection and I also have regular harness but only use them "over" their shirts to prevent matting. I use a regular short leash. I do not like the retractable in case I would have to pull them up in a hurry. |

| I have a retractable leash, but in Pet training you have to have a regular leash, so I just got use to it. |

| Thanks for all the tips, guys! I think the rolled leather collar would be the best, since I don't want my puppy's hair to matt. And thanks for the heads up about the padded harness! That definitely sounds like the way to go. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | If I remember right, I either got my rolled leather collar on ebay or at Petsmart - and I kinda think it was Petsmart...
