| Tearless Flea and Tick Shampoo Does anyone know if any flea and tick shampoo is tear free and if so, which ones?

| Be careful with flea and tick shampoos, as some dogs have bad reactions to the chemicals...I have read several times that you can bathe your dog in Dawn dish soap to get rid of the fleas.

| I used a lemon juice rinse and it worked great! I shampooed first, rinsed with clear water, then rinsed with half lemon juice/ half water (warm since the lemon juice was cold from the fridge). I let the lemon juice rinse sit on him for a couple of minutes and then rinsed it off. I would be careful about his eyes, but I brushed the hair above his nose with a toothbrush and this lemon rinse. The fleas couldn't jump off fast enough!! This was right after I got him (about three weeks ago) and I have only seen one flea since. We simply repeated the rinse and I haven't seen any more.

| Thanks, I think ill try the lemon juice. I dont have a flea problem, we live in a very wooded area and ive already found 3 ticks on him.
