| should I buy a size bigger? For a sweatshirt or sweater for Koda? He loves playing outside but in the evening when I take him out to potty it has been a bit chilly for him. Also in the daytime I keep our central air set at 69 degrees. I am such a hot body and my kids are always hot from playing so much that anything above 69 we can't stand. But poor Koda, when he isn't romping around and running foolishly around the house tends to get chilled I noticed. He will want me to cuddle him and the poor thing even shivers sometimes. I want to find him a little sweatshirt but don't know what size to go with. I want it to be boyish so when i get baby girl people won't be confused. But should I get it the size that would fit now, or a size bigger so he can grow into it and use it longer? this whole puppy growing is so confusing with this breed. You never know how big they will be or if they won't get any bigger, lol! What would you guys suggest? Where would you suggest to buy one reasonably priced? I think Yorkies look so adorable dressed up and i so can't wait to buy sweet little dresses for baby girl!!! |

| Do you know how big his parents are? That may give you some indication. How big is he now (chest measurement)? Mine are around 12 inch chests and they usually wear XS.

| I think what I would do is buy some second hand clothes, that folks sell here, that fit him till he gets to his adult size, then buy new. If you can't find any, then look for the ones that are the least expensive. Maybe just buy a couple for now so he will have one to wear while the other is being washed. Look in second hand stores and garage sells too. |
