They may still fit....Bella is a little over 4lbs and the small is actually pulled to as big as it gets. In fact I ordered a medium yesterday. You can make them smaller

Thanks so much...I have been having such a hard time finding a harness I like. Does this one cause mats as bad as some of the others? I just ordered one...can't wait to try it.

I haven't had any problems with it for Bella. It is my favorite harness in fact I just ordered another one in a bigger size as she is growing and my luck I won't find it again. It can be adjusted but the small is on the biggest setting and Bella will be out of it soon. It's also nice for the summer very lightweight and NO VELCRO!!

I just wanted to update everyone - I bought one of these for Sachi, he is 2.4 pounds. It is a little bit big, but I do love it already. It is great!
