| Vita Gravy or Iams Food Sauce? Hello YTers. I was looking into getting a gravy for Holly's food. I just want to make it more appealing to her and also make it a little soft without having to give her wet food. I'm still a little nervous. Has anyone ever used any of these and did your babies like them?

| I have used the Iams sauces. I only tried them when Gracie was on her puppy food strikes, ages 8 weeks to 4 months. She liked them at first, then grew tired of them. That reminds me, they need to get out of my fridge and into the trash!

| I feed the vita gravy to my cat and my lil baci. Not consistantly but as a treat. I think the vita gravy is better for them because it is hullistic? I could be wrong though.

| Wouldn't it be better to wait until we're sure all the tainted wheat gluten is out of the pet food supply? The first products that were pulled included special cuts and "gravy". It might be safer to just moisten the dry kibble for awhile. |

| Do you have any suggestions on how I can make the food more appealing to her? Also she can not have beef. How can I replenish the benefits that beef can provide for her if any? Will she be okay on just poultry?

| Dogs should not be eating gravy. These items are made to help intice dogs to eat dog food. Crazy!! |

| Yes. That is exactly what I am trying to do. Get her to eat the puppy food. There are some things that I cook for her, but not all the time. And when I do, I still mix in some kibble. I came across these two items and just wanted to know which one I could try.

| What kind of food are you feeding her? Maybe she isn't eating it for a reason? Or maybe she is teething. If you are feeding a good quality food (Canidae, Innova, Merrick, etc.) then add *good* quality chicken broth (like Kitchen Basics or something from a box, not Swansons it has MSG and too much salt) or plain yogurt or fresh chicken or pureed carrots or other veggies. You could even smear peanut butter on it. I actually found some pumpkin butter at Trader's that has way fewer calories than PB and the dogs LOVE it! There are lots of healthy things you can mix with her food. If all else fails, just feed Merrick canned. No dog can pass up Wingaling. If you are going to add the Iams gravy you might as well just put ketchup on her food.

| Maybe your yorkie would like Merrick canned foods better. I'm not familiar with the foods you mentioned, but with all the recalls, you have to be very careful with those gravies and such. What kibble are you feeding? Maybe she just doesn't like it. If it's a high quality kibble, then maybe you can add a little cottage cheese or a little chicken to it. Maybe some lightly steamed veggies like carrots or something. Those are healthy things that would benefit your dogs. Yogurt is wonderful for them
