| dog harness a woman in the petstore recommended this ruffwear harness because romeo has a collapsed trachea. i think it's designed for service animals. it appears to take the pressure of the neck area better than any other harness i have seen. i did not get one yet. it's not the cutest harness, but it seems good for yorkies with collapsed trachea. has anyone here tried one? http://www.ruffwear.com/Web-Master-t...=2&category=16 |

| Ruff Wear makes great products, though I've never tried that one. How big is Romeo? Have you tried an Easy Walk harness or a Sensation harness? They go across the breastbone and nowhere near the neck.

| Here are some pictures of Loki wearing his. Sorry he's furry and it's hard to see. Romeo would definately be a "petite" size but the measurements are on the website. See how low it sits? It straps around the belly and then across the chest. I love this harness because it's a "no pull" and also because it's easy to put under sweatshirts and stuff - the leash just sticks out the front of the shirt. I don't like harnesses that attach on the back. The website is www.premier.com.

| awe... loki is adorable. i checked them out. a very good alternative to the traditional harness. thanks for sharing. my one concern is that it attaches to the front of the leash. is it a problem for walks? |

| I Use The Easy Walk Harness Which Really Seems To Work Well For Us. Cooper Doesnt Mind It At All And It Really Helps So That He Doesnt "choke Himself Off" When He Runs Ahead On The Leash. It Was Recommended By Our Vet As Well As The Lady At The Pet Store...a Little More Expensive Than The Everyday Harnesses But I Think It Works Great And Doesnt Have Lot Of Straps. |

| No I like it better. You just can't use a flexi (the point is no-pull and the flexi is always pulling) and I choose to use a 4' leash that way it doesnt drag at all. Sometimes it gets tangled if Loki keeps switching sides on a walk - but not more than a regular harness. I like that it attaches in the front because it's more like using collar, even though it's away from their neck. Think about it - for loose leash walking with a leash attached to the collar the leash would be hanging in front of them. Same with this harness. That's why it's great for training vs. the ones that attach on their back.

| Last week I made a new step in harness for Mitzi and she loves it. It is soft and comfi, doesn't come near her neck, is easy to put on and I think it looks cute too. I have another fabric like that with purple also. If you like I could make one for romeo... |

| The Ruffwear harness is what I've been looking for. Gus doesn't try to get out of his harness but he is a skinny boy and has slipped half way out once and completely out a few days ago. This looks perfect for him. Thanks!!

| My two girls have this harness in red and in pink. They protect the sternum and don't choke up on the neck. They are the best we have ever had. http://www.gwlittle.com/SearchResult...avel%20harness |
