| Need to Fix Brand New Harness...HELP! I bought a nice harness the other day and was trying it on Holly when I realized it was a little big. I tried to resize it and I took out the D Ring and lost it. I can't find it anywhere. I've looked for about 6 hours now and nothing. I give up. Just wondering if anyone knew where I could get a replacement D Ring for the Harness. Please Help. I have puppy class and I don't want to use a collar.

| Can you post a picture??? I'm concerned about a harness that you were able to remove the d-ring from... Maybe its just me not being able to picture it or not being familiar with the brand your talking about??? Maybe if I had more info or saw it it would make sense?? Anyone else?? I hope someone else chimes in with some help for ya!!! But like I said... It sounds unsafe to me without having more info to go on.

| I agree with Kathryn. I had Alphy in one and I tugged on his leash, the leash and D ring went one way he took off the other way. I was able to send his step in harness back and got a solid D ring sewn on it. Talk about panic.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I am not sure either but I do know you can pick up D rings at Ace hardware if that is the answer you are looking for. Good luck!

| You can purchase "d" rings at most craft stores and/or sewing stores. Please be sure that the "d" rings are CAST and not welded. The welds come loose and the "d" ring can actually pull aprt enough to slip out of the harness. If you cannot find one locally, please send me a pm and maybe I can help |

| Thanks Thank you so much. It was a little open when I dropped it. I was trying to adjust the part that goes around the chest. I was going to sew it through several times to reinforce it. I will definitely go get some before class tomorrow.

| That's very clever, thanks. I think if I don't have time to go to the store, I will do that. I can undo the stitches anyways and just replace it when I do get a D ring. Thank you again.

| In my experience the D-rings in stores are mostly way to big. Let me know if you want me to send you one. |
