Hi mistyinca, I looked at the console ones but the gear shift on my car is in the middle in front of the console so I am not sure if that one would work.....that is why I was looking at the oversized lookout II so I can stap them into the back seat.

Thanks everyone for all the great links and input. I think I am going with my original decision of the oversized lookout for the back seat........ It will fit my car better and I think both pups would have plenty of room even when they get full grown..........

I bought a carseat when I got Brandi because I had her in the car all the time and I wanted her to be safe......and now that I look at the pictures of the carseats you're talking about I feel bad that I might have made the wrong choice.....Brandi's carseat has 3 belts that wrap around the seat and a soft cushioned "basket" that raises her up so she can see out the window......it's mesh and padding now I'm afraid she will get hurt if I ever have an accident....

Ps to keep pups in a seat it will probably have to be enclosed, so you may just use a larger carrier at first.

Do you know what brand your is, I have not seen that one at the local petsmart and like you said it is not online. I like the look of it or the fidorido because if reminds me more of a childs car seat so it gives me that sense that they would be safe.
