wheelaway carriers?

Anybody have one of these? It's called a Wheel-a-way carrier, and it's awesome. We picked one up in California recently and love it. It fits under an airline seat. It also converts to a carseat and a backpack. I really think it's a must for traveling. And 9-pound Eddie fit in it just fine.

We paid $100, but I just noticed it's $60 or so at petco. They make two sizes, and only the small one is airline approved.

We have 2 of them, but i prefer to use the one in the pic, it feels stronger, and is better quality. We love ours, both my girls fit in, and it's so easy to take them along in it.

Wow I like that. I have been looking for something that I can take both Cali and Maya in to the vet and groomers. The big carrier I have for Maya is a nylabone hard plastic and with both of them in it it just about kills me to carry them. Mike is yours the small size? If so could I fit my 11 lb pom and 5 lb Cali in it?

They have something very similiar to this at Target. I believe it is under $40, but I'm not for sure.

I started carrying those on my website and I dont personally have one yet but Im thinking about claiming one becasue they double as enclosed carseats, which I like the idea for Tinkerbell.

Yes, we got the smaller of the two and were told by the clerk that that was the only one that met carry-on specifications. I was afraid 9-pound Eddie would not fit in it because the length is 16". Our previous carrier was 19" long. But it's wider and taller than our old carrier, and Eddie curled up just fine. I was worried about the backpack mode, but he sat up just fine.

Before buying, you might want to take your Pom to the store and try it out.

And JCarlson, I don't know about pink, but I got mine in black.

LOL, I looked at the first picture and thought the little red toy was your other carrier. I thought, that poor, tiny Yorkie could never fit in that!
