| Dog coat size help, having a horrible time!! Maybe we are just idiots, but we are having a horrible time finding a coat that fits for our Yorkie! She is 4 months old and weighs 2lbs 5oz. She wears a velcro harness and we are having a hard time finding a coat that will fit over it! What do most of you use? I know they have the coats that have a leash ring on top, but do any of you try and put the coats over a harness that have an opening for a leash? We have returned two different coats a size 6 and size 8, that are long enough, but are too tight underneath when we try and fasten them! Thanks! |

| Finding clothes to actually fit a tiny Yorkie can be quite a challenge. You might need to look into a custom made coat. There are several people here on YT that do custom sewing. Shown below are a couple of my creations. Each coat I make is custom fit to the dog it is being purchased for. They come with or without a "button hole" to accomodate a harness "d" ring. The Christmas coat is quilted Dupioni Silk and the Pink Leopard coat is lined with silk. |
