Germs still can go around, rather Pixie was exposed to anyone else or not. What about when they move something out of the room, or a nurse goes to check on your aunt, then goes and checks on another patient. You should've checked with the nurses station before bringing Pixie up there. Peoples lives are on the line up there, it's definitly not a place to go and break the rules. I hope that if I'm in the ICU, or any of my loved ones that the other patients families don't pull any thing like this and put myself or my loved ones at risk. It's one thing to use the bag to sneak the dog into a store that doesn't allow dogs, but the ICU, that's wrong. As for that nurse, I think you should report him. Who knows what other unsanitary practices he is doing. As for your aunt, it's good to hear that she's doing better

				   | When my son was almost killed in an automobile accident, he asked to see his beloved yorkie, Mickey. It certinaly improved his overall recovery. We also took Mickey to sit on Santa's lap and had his picture taken, framed it and gave it to my son to keep on his table next to his hospital bed. He was so uplifted from it all. We did have permission from the hospital to take him there. We followed the rules from the hospital and it really paid off. What wonderful therapy it was for my son. |

				   | Rae Rae, I'll say it a second time.... YOU ARE RIGHT... no need repeating yourself.... I was wrong... How many times would you like me to say it??? or would you like me to keep repeating myself??? Can we please be adults and not beat a dead horse? And for peace of mind.. It was reported. My Cousin is an RN in the oncology ward at the other hospital in here in the desert and she reported my complaint to his superiors during her visit.

				   | Didn't mean to "beat a dead horse." Just wanted to throw that out there so everyone doesn't pass up the option to brighten someone's day if they are in the hospital. Sorry if this upset you. You know what...I am soon getting a little girl yorkie. I get her on Monday. When I have a really bad day at work, I just open my cell phone to look at her picture and my problems all melt away! |

				   | psvidesigner.... You did nothing of the sort.. Please don't take my post personally.. it was meant for Rae Rae... This a perfect example of why I think this kind of banter should be taken to PMs and not used to Muddy up threads... I posted on this topic elsewhere... This topic being "the public arguments" between members. I think that her and I solved it quite quickly.. but some drag on for days and pages! And it can get pretty ugly!... Also other member get involved and feelings get hurt... I don;t like it and I am very sorry that you felt that it was in any way directed towards you.. It was NOT! Please accept my apology! I really should have PM'ed her and not replied publicly... I'm sorry...

I just want you to know that I really wasn't trying to argue with you, I just wanted to let you know why this shouldn't be done w/o asking, no matter what the situation was. If I really wanted to argue it, I wouldv'e said something when I first read it. I saw someone else post on it though, so just kinda responded on how and why I agreed with them. In a way though I think it's better that some posts are public. What if someone else was thinking "ooh I should bring my pup into the ICU" and now they will hopefully understand why it's not the greatest idea. No hard feelings

There is mesh... towards the ends extending up to the top where the strap begins.. but its like a privacy mesh, really fine, and its dark black... if you ordered it in black... That seems to be the trend... lol You'll totally have to post pics too!!!And Nope.. I seriously don't make any commission on "The Bag" I wish! Actually.. I wish I sold them myself! lol Now that would be sweet!

Thanks for the response ... kinda late for me to ask about ventilation, huh? I fig'd you wouldn't have raved about it if it was not good for the babies. I know you don't make commission on these sales (but wouldn't it be loverly???) Yes, indeed, I ordered black ... trying to be discreet ... And now I am anxious to see if does the trick. I had a denim one and took Monday into the supermarkets and all ... once i was at the register she peeked her head out, by then no one said anything ... the only reason I do not use it anymore is because the top closed with velcro and her hair got stuck a lot. (Target and Home Depot were the "enemies"). Never tried a restaurant ... oh yeah, would you believe it, I was asked to leave MacDonalds ..... I shall take pix but I still do not know how to "post" them here. later, Debbie
