| Has anyone ever purchases this gate? http://futurepet.com/cgi-bin/search.exe?BP=1&RCAT=100. I've ordered it as I have a large opening between my LR and Kitchen and the walls are not flat on both sides and this one is adjustable for even that. Just wondering if anyone had used it before and if so, did you like it. I have to have something for a while yet. My LR, Kitchen and Dining area are very open with no door for closing it off. I just put up a long peice of lattice (IN MY HOUSE) just temporarily till I get this. Just wondered if anyone else had ever used one like this. here is the picture of it, I hope. lol if not it should come up in this link but not sure if the link comes up to this exact gate.

| I have a large opening for my kitchen as well. It was a toos up between two gates. The one you showed and this one. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...entPage=search I chose this one bc I was afraid the bars in the one you looked at were to spaced out and I didnt know if my lil one would fit through them or get stuck.

| well the one you showed me, I saw but look at the spaces between the 3 parts. Maggie can go thru the lattice into the living room. those holes are 4 inches and the space between the bars in the gate I ordered is 3 inches apart. But maggie is only 3 months old and somewhere between 1.9 lbs and maybe 2 by now or could be lil over 2 lbs. So it probably wont be too long she cant get thru them and I dont think she will be able to go thru them now. they looked like they were further apart in the picture to me too thats why i measured the holes in the lattice and the width in the middle is 4 inches. So I dont think she will be able to go thru it. I was a little worried about getting the mesh looking insert as kizzy is 8 lbs and i'm not sure how long it would take before she had it clawed up trying to raise up on it and scratch it and get a hole torn in it. anyway, I should get mine before long, they were out when i ordered it so it will probably be another week to 10 days and i'll post how I like it.

| Shylah get's through that type of gate I have a gate similar to this one. Shylah is almost 5 months old and weighs around 2.6 lbs or more and still hops right through it. I am thinking of getting some plexiglass and weaving it through the bars. Do you all have any other ideas? Shylah is my Houdini when it comes to gates. We had the expandable kind in the bathroom door and I don't know how she got out of it, she did. I am wondering if she climbed?? We also have a nylon/mesh xpen and she chewed a hold through that. I have had no luck at penning her up except in a crate. So keep in mind how big your yorkie is before you invest in an expensive gate.

| yes, i did keep her size in mind but I dont know how big she will be yet . she is tiny now but kizzy was little too and wasnt suppose to be over about 4 lbs and now shes 8 lbs. But I was scared to get one with a mesh like insert because of kizzy tearing a hole in it. See i have a big one and a little one. This fence also has a small animal gate you can open and let the little one thru when you dont want the big one thru. I think I will like it (or I sure hope I do) since i've already ordered it. if maggie can get thru it would have to be close to the bottom because she is so short. I can put something at the bottom where she cant get high enough to come thru if i have to for a while. goodluck on yours and getting one she cant get out of and I hope mine works for me.
