| You can usually find it at Petsmart or Petco. I know Petsmart carries them in packs which include toothpaste and brush. You can't use human toothbrushes cause even the softest ones are too harsh on their gums. I think the pack together is like 7 or eight bucks. Seperately the toothpaste will be around 4-5 dollars and the brush should be around the same.

| Make sure you only use a pea size amount of toothpaste. It'll be difficult but it's best to get them used to having it done at a young age. Just put a little paste on your finger tip and let them lick it off and then hold the sides of their mouth and slowly begin brushing gently. They also make a brush you can slip right on your finger tip so it's not as traumatic. it's like three dollars I think?

| I was wondering if anybody knew of any minty smelling toothpaste? I've brushed my baby's teeth with two or three different meaty toothpastes and they all give her "fartbreath "..that's what my youngest daughter calls it!!! |

| I use fourpaws pet dental it is called. I get it at PetCo. I also use a baby's toothbrush. It has a small handle and a small brush. Perfect and they are not expensive. I buy them at Shoprite. Works great. This time I bought "ELMO". |

| Try getting DentaClean mint toothpaste in Petsmart. I bought it for Diamond and she likes it just as much as the other toothpaste that is chicken flavor. Although I rather have her breath smelling minty! I also got her DentaClean mints

| I brush using the Denta Clean Tarter Control toothpaste twice (or so) a week, and then every night before bed I rub a little bit of the Life for Teeth gel on their gums. I started brushing Pixie's teeth as soon as I got her (around 16 weeks). I got Charlie when he was about 7 months and as far as I can tell he's never has his brushed. It's difficult, but we're working with him.... |

| I purchased mine from my vet--I'll check on the name. I think it is by C.E.T. Very good! And I use a cat toothbrush--great for small mouths. Sart when very young so that your Yorkie can get used to it before the permanent teeth come in. It's hard...but I keep at it. This company Virbac C.E.T.) also makes enzymatic oral hygiene chews--much better than rawhide as the enzyme really works to prevent plaque and loosen tartar. All products available at the vet or animal hospital based "store". |
