| What size shirt do i need to order for my baby yorkie? Me and mom went to the mall the other day and saw some cute lil shirts but the smallest they had was a xs and it would have covered him up completely almost. But on all these websites the smallest is a x-tra small. He only weighs 1.7 at 9wks. From the back of his neck to his tail is about 6inches. Which is about what the measurements are for the xtra small. I dont know- What should i order or is there any out there for a puppy this small? |

| Most web pages with dog clothes have the measurements on them. If you go to barkindogclothes.com, she custom makes them to fit your dog (That's where the shirts in my avatar are from). For example: http://www.glamourdog.com/chcush.html (looks like you would order a size 0 in this shirt) -- the sizing varies from place to place, don't be afraid to contact some by e-mail with your dog's measurements. Most people are glad to help out their customers by recommending the right size

| every XS is different, so you should measure you pup and go by the size charts listed on most people's sites. I have some xs's that are significantly smaller than others. Also, your pup will probably grow still so Id leave some room for that |

| I dont know either! Sully is 13.5" from neck to tail. He is also 9.1 pounds, fully grown (8 mo. old). But when I bought him a SMALL hawaiian shirt this week, on eBay, it was way too big for him. Still wearable....but I had to use safety pins...oh well, live and learn. Good luck. I would say definitely buy from a place that would custom fit your dog's size. And remember that your baby will grow, and fast, so if it's a tad too big, it's ok, for now. www.barkindogclothes.com has some really cute stuff, I've really been admiring from aimee's posts.
