| ![]() I just recently bought CC systems Day to Day shampoo and conditoner. I've only used it once but so far it is nice- I like it. The smell smells like ..close to Nexxus Humectress if anyone is wanting to know the smell before buying. Also I bought the Ice on Ice leave in conditioner. I like this the most. It has no smell and is a spray leave on conditioner. ( I do wish it had a scent though)..The only thing with the cc day to day is that the smell only lasts maybe 2 at most 3 days. I also just bought Petsilk. This smells great and the scent is strong so it lasts. It smells similar to Bio-Silk shampoo for people. Again I have only used this one time. I bought the mango shampoo( smells like fruity and strong) and the pet silk conditioner. The conditioner is very very concentrated I can tell. I used it with a lot of water in my hand. I have to experiment some more because Lucy has the cottony hair and Milo the true silk and I used Ice on Ice with both products. I think I may have either used too much conditioner on Milo- his hair had tons of flake or else It was his dry skin?? Not so sure which..Milo's hair and skin and everything else needs pampering/tlc since I just got him. I hope this helps! ![]()

| ![]() I was using people stuff... Aussie Moist shampoo and Pantene conditioner... but after about a month it started to dry out her hair and skin. I tried some new stuff from the pet store... A banana & oatmeal shampoo and lavender scented conditioning rinse... We'll see if it helps with the dryness in the next couple weeks. |

| ![]() Lucy's mom, try Physique conditioner on your soft coated dog...it's a human product. One of the few with a particular ingredient that is wonderful on soft coated dogs to make them very managable..don't be afraid to leave a tad of it in when you rinse. Most human products don't have this ingredient anymore because it fades out hair color, but it works wonders for soft coats. Kelly, I use pantene sometimes on show days, both shampoo and conditioner (straight and sleek), sometimes I use coat handlers.. I wouldn't reccomend using human products for every day, though some friends of mine swear by Redken, I found it too drying for regular use, but WOW on show days. Not a fan at all of Ice on Ice, it will be nice for a little while, but then builds up and you won't get a good result with it. What are you using it for, a conditioner or a detangler or shine/styling product? I might can reccomend something you'll like better..I think I've tried just about everything, LOL

I also have a cheap Moisturizing Creme Rinse from 8in1 that I had gotten a couple days before I even got Pixie. It's not bad, but it doesn't wow me. The only reason I'm still using it is because it's such a big bottle and I'd hate to just throw it out and waste it. I use a spray in conditioner called "Sparkle & Shine Shimmering Mist" (Shana sells it on her site). And while it smells AWESOME, it isn't doing much for her hair. If anything it seems to be weighing it down and making it dull. Pixie does have a decent silk coat. It's a little thinner than I'd like, but I don't think there's anything I can do to make her produce more coat. And now that I've cut most of her puppy hair off, I barely get any tangles and she combs through wonderfully. I'd like to try CC, but I seem to see so many mixed reviews I'm afraid to spend the money and find out I don't like it... I suppose I could always resell it to another YT member, but I'd rather not go through the hassle... I've been looking at Duurstede products and would like to try them. Have you? Did you like them? I guess I'm looking for better everything (shampoo, conditioner, shine/conditioning spray for daily brushings....) without having to waste a ton of money doing it! I appreciate the input everyone gives. It really helps a lot. ![]() | |

| ![]() Kelly I think that's kind of the nature of the beast with Yorkies, just like people products, you use them for a while, then decide to try something else. If you're like me, you either have a closet full of half bottles, or a shower with a selection, LOL I can't tell you how many different shampoos/conditioners/detanglers/oils/shine products, etc. I have, it's probably disgusting to some, LOL...but I find if I use something for a while, it isn't long til I go looking for something else, and voila, there it is waiting for me to pick back up and use again, so eventually almost everything gets used...unless I just truely hated it, then it's just collecting dust..lol Pixie will thicken up as she matures. One of mine had the most sparse coat as a puppy..just twigs really.. and now she has the fastest growing, thickest, best texture coat of all of my dogs at almost 3 years old. I actually shaved her down as a "teenager" to grow her back out, and it really worked to thicken up the coat, she is on the ground now, and I have to keep it cut back to floor level or she trips! ![]()
