pet strollers- a do or a don't

I was also warned not to let my babies walk around my granny's nursing home! The nurses said that the floors were dirty and to keep the dogs off the floor! They didn't want my dogs to get sick...then they couldn't come and visit any of the residents! I think the stroller would work out great at the nursing home! Now I need to find some baby outfits...

i think it's awesome that u take your babies to a nursing home. i know people just light up and smile around animals.

Pet strollers are great for taking your dog to places you couldnt normally go to or that it would be hard to go to and carry a dog around, such as the mall, food place, etc..
People may think you are a weird dog lady but those are the same people that probobly think carriers are bad, dog clothes are bad and spoiling dogs are bad they simply do not understand the bond we have with our yorkies so you just have to not care about thier opinions or what they think. The whole point is that you can take your baby with you places instead of leaving them home all alone everytime you go out

Those people also may think it strange that we belong to this YorkieTalk forum and all we talk about is our dogs! Crazy? maybe... Happy? a definite YES!!! I love being "that crazy dog lady" - don't you?

LOL! Sssshhhhh! Don't let Mayzie hear what Baby Blessing is getting from the tooth fairy! She lost a bunch of teeth this week and believe it or not the tooth fairy brought nuthin'! Um, but she does have a stroller! lol She love it to. We have the blue Happy Trails stroller. I got mine from ebay.

Yes they probobly would think we are a bit odd for belonging to YT, lol. If I wasnt the "crazy dog lady" I dont know what I would be I probobly wouldnt be as happy, thats for sure

Hi Jamie, Well, I reckon Baby Blessing really wants that tooth fairy to bring that
stroller she lost another one today, she was so funny, she kept running around
looking for her tooth, lol. I did look at the stroller at Pets Mart as they are on sale now, but the one they had was defective so I guess I shall go on line and check it out, you said you got yours on Ebay, I will go look in a bit and see what they have. I was wondering can the net on the front be completely removed, did you get the cover that helps keep out the wind and rain with yours? The pink is pretty but I am a blue denim person
so I think I shall go for the blue, where all do you use yours?

i need to accept that i am the person carrying the dog in the purse dressed up like a preppy little man. i'm getting a stroller. i wish america was more like france where you can bring your dog everywhere without discrimination. in france, they can go to restaurants , public transit, etc. everything here is so over regulated. i will push my little dog in a polo shirt through the mall! look out america i'm getting a stroller and i'm going to use it! lol.

I tried out a red stroller in Petco the other day with Buddy and he *loved* it - he was totally calm and seemed to love riding around the store in it. My boyfriend refused to be seen with me. And I can understand. I will have to be in the camp that is resisting the crazy dog lady image (no matter how practical it is!) and I ordered a carrier from Target

But I think it's an awesome idea! Esp for those of you with multiple pups.

Just did a search and read about the AT3 all terrain pet stroller by Happy Trails, does anyone have this one? If someone has purchased this one would you post back or pm me and let me know what you think about it. I notice the newer Happy Trails has now come out with the 8 inch wheels, and also if it doesn't say plus on that unit the weather cover and pad don't come with it, seems like only the pink came in the plus. I was dissapointed the one today at pets mart was defective but then again maybe it was meant to get this other model, anyway I am excited about one as I can see where it will really come in handy. Ok I have been wanting a stroller for the longest time. My fiance who has grown very much attatched to our little Madison keeps telling me that he can deal with all the clothes, and toys, and beds and etc etc...but a stroller??? He just cant see it. But after reading everyones rave over these strollers...I'm breaking down and buying one! And I couldnt be more excited!!!! I would feel safer with her in one. Anyone have any ideas on how to "break the news" to my fiance???
