| Little Harness? I've bought two Harnesses for both my pups.. and they are either too big or too small! ahh so i'm going nuts.. i like to use a harness because the collar pulls too much on their small necks.. what size/kind of harnesses do you fellow yorkie owners use? |

| I just won a harness & leash set on ebay yesterday...she had measurements for each size, and I measured Max & ended up getting a medium. I was a bit shocked, though, because everything else so far I've gotten for him has been a size small (he's 5.4 lbs). When Max was smaller, we actually used a guinea pig harness that we bought at PetSmart for my daughter's pig. LOL It was always too big for the pig & was just right for Max. (pic attached) |

| I got my harness off of ebay but I need to get a larger one. The connecters on it are really cheap too. I hope to find a better quality one next time.

| When we brought our puppy home, we had to get a cat harness for him! The people at PetSmart also said that some people buy ferrett harnesses for their small-breed puppies.

| Yup, I have a purple cat harness for Tia as well. It even has a little bell - she hates it!

| thanks for all the input everyone! oreo loves to chew gingers things and vice versa, would a leather like material be harder for them to get through? i was thinking of a leather harness, they have some that are pretty thick and look more comfortable than the ones i have that dig into their little armpits.. |

| How about ferret harness??? I bought a ferret harness and collar for Tinkerbell. Then I saw a special sized collar and harness for "t-cup sized dogs" at either Petsmart of Petco. Peach with pink and brown polka dots. I love them, fit perfect. She's 2 lbs. There were no skinny leashes in the dog dept so I bought a cat leash. Last edited by chloeandj; 04-01-2005 at 07:44 PM. |

| I love the "buddybelt" harness. It is leather anfd flat and looks like aviator goggles when it's off the dog. Some harnesses are so bulky and uncomfortable. This looks more comfortable. |

| Beau has a cloth harness VEST that has a D-ring on the back. The vest closes with velcro strips and it was made to fit him, I got it off E-bay. |

| I'm using a Hartz kitten harness (cat harness is too big) with Sheila right now and when she's full grown I'll get her a buddy belt. |

| Here's a pic of the one I bought this week...I've put it on Max several times & it fits perfectly with some room to grow, as well. He can't chew on the harness itself, but he always chews on his leash. LOL |
