| Fancy Bow Boxes I've been painting Yorkies again -- this is the most fun I've EVER had painting! How can you help but love to paint these little rascals? This time I've been working on bow boxes. This one is is fairly good sized -- the lid is 4 1/2 inches across and the base is about 5 inches across. It should hold lots of fancy bows! The box is all porcelain with a metal hinge. The design was kiln fired at 1517 degrees farenheit five times to get the depth of color I wanted. In the kiln painted design sinks into the porcelain glaze, becoming a permanent part of the glaze so it can never fade or wash off. It's all original work, no decals, etc. I can also do one as a portrait of your own furbaby. Prices vary depending on the size of the box, the amount and type of other decoration, and so on. This box is $56. |
