| Hi there again, I know, they are expensive. I purchased some at Amazon.com, you can get 50 of the 6-8 inch ones for about $70. Or 35 of the big ones for $80. I attached the link. They should arrive this Monday. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...lance&n=284507 Quote:

| petco/petsmart carries them. they're just expensive. flossies are made by merrick. 100% digestable. and helps to clean doggie teeth. they're kinda like bully sticks except instead of making them outta bull you-know-whats, these are made of beef tendons. unfortunately they don't last as long as bully sticks. bunjee can work on a single 6" bully stick for a couple weeks and he just finished a whole 6 inch flossie last night in about 6 hours. i was actually clipping his nails and finished all four paws while he was working on a flossie. that's how fixated he was on them. so you can say he LOVES them. haha. amazon won't have "used" flossies. if you click on the link you'll see that they're all new. "new and used" is just a default label for that section. anita, maybe one of these days if you don't want all 50 in the shipment from amazon, we can go halvsies on the order? |

| flossies Thank you so much for that amazon link. I have always looked for flossies on ebay but they were never listed. That is a great price for them. I have paid up to $3.00 for the 6 to 8". I had stopped giving them to reese because she was eating them so quickly and she was on a strict diet and I was trying to cut back on them. I never did find out if they are very fattening.. Do you know if they are? I have looked on the labels and never saw anything on it. My vet wasn't even sure of what I was talking about, she had never heard of flossies. I have now given them back to her, since she has lost weight and she ate one last night in about three hours. That is the only problem with them. She too will not look at anything else while eating one of those. I have to literally steal it from her and hide it in another room, to prevent her from finishing them in one sitting. Sounds like me with chocolate cake. Thanks again for the link. I will be ordering them tonight. |

| Momofreese, Yes, they are a pretty good deal on Amazon, an average of $1.44 per piece. Maybe you want to try the Jumbo flossies though, they may last longer or maybe you should try bully sticks. Hunniebunny, I am sure that we can work something out =) If you're interested though, Amazon also sells them in smaller quantities, like 12 or 24 if I remember right, and the shipping isn't much.
