| We have a large PetGear and a medium (I believe) Snoozer. Both of the pups travel well in them. I prefer how the Snoozer sits in the seat, but the dogs are actually attached to the seatbelt instead of just the fabric of the seat like the PetGear. I feel that it is safer. A lot of the time, I just use the straps and put a blanket in the back seat when we need more space (for trips when we need every square inch in the convertible). Here are some pictures of the PetGear and how it straps into the car. The last picture is my mom's dog, Zoey and how she prefers to travel She is strapped into the seatbelt, and she likes to travel laying on her back... lol

| Hi, I just got the Kurgo Skybox for my new Yorkie puppy a couple of weeks ago. So far so good - I tied the strap connected to the carabiner in a big knot so that it doesn't have so much length, because Ziggy's harness has several inches of leeway before the connector at the end. He's about 4 pounds. I stuffed a pillow between the skybox and the passenger door for my own peace of mind since I can't reach that far to make sure he doesn't get stuck trying to climb out. He perches with his paws on top of the pillow and looks out. He also has been sleeping in it pretty nicely once he got used to it. I have his blanket and a towel inside to give it some extra comfort and height. He does like to chew on the straps! I'm still looking for ways to make it completely worry proof as he likes to turn around and I try to keep track of whether he's got himself twisted in the lead. But overall I am very happy with it. It feels sturdy but he is pretty small. I am still looking for a good car harness that will fit him. ![]() |

| Once a week we make a two hour trip to a lake cabin and my yorkies were in a standard carrier case which they hated. I just bought them each a Snoozer and they love it from day one. I was afraid my 6 year old would not approve right away but she loved it. I got them both from Amazon and I have 6 lb. Yorkies and bought the small size which is perfect. The cover comes off if it needs cleaning and it has sides which keep them cuddled, I put them on the floor of the family room for a few days before placing in the car and put a little treat in each of them the first few days so they would jump in and look around. By the third night they were jumping in to take an afternoon nap. (sans treat). I'm very happy with the Snoozers. |

| I have a question......Are they any car seats that would be good for a 2 lb yorkie. I am hoping he will get bigger but I'll just have to wait and see. Remy hates being in a car period. He pants and shakes the whole time. It makes it hard to travel with him because I feel so sorry for him. We did. 4 hr trip and about the last 45 mins of the trip he finally calmed down. I think it was because he was so tired after panting the first 3 hours and 15 mins. I am looking for a car seat that will be high enough so he can see out the window but yet secure him safely. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

| Mine goes in her crate, seat belted in the car. My fear of wrecking and her getting loose out in the woods or a busy street and lost forever, is unbelievable.

| I got one at Home Goods in an XS that is just fabulous and my girl loves it! It's by American Kennel Club or something like that and was maybe $12 (no more that $15). Home Goods always has them so check there! |

| I know, right.....They thought of everything. The car seat turns into a bed too. Great for traveling!
