| My new dog carrier has arrived! Finally, after looking above and beyond for an appropriate dog carrier for my 7lb Milana, it has arrived! I ordered this bag from amazon: Amazon.com : Evergreens Khaki Striped Polyester... So far, I am very happy with my purchase. It's very roomy for my dog and she actually likes sitting inside of it (she hated all other dog carriers I have tried). It is soft on sides and thus, it really looks like a tote bag not a dog carrier. If you want more protection for your dog, this might not be the one as sides are pretty soft but still have enough thickness for some protection. But I think that it will be very easy to wash and it really looks great - not as bulky as other ones I have seen. It's pretty light and materials are of a good quality. I think that my big disappointment was lack of cover for the mesh on top as I wanted completely discreet look. But even with mesh, it will be hard to see the dog in the bag (see my pictures below). Finally, another drawback is that the bag has some manufacturing smell to it but I'll just let it sit by the windows to air out. So far, extremely happy - definitely keeping it! My next purchase might be this bag, which is supposed to be completely discreet: Amazon.com : Fashion Dog Carrier Dog Handbag Dog... |

| I really like it so far. I just need to train Milana to sit more quietly within it - she just keeps moving and tries to peak her head through the top mesh. But other than that, I like it - I feel that it's pretty comfortable and very light. |
