| mat for kennel I can't find the correct size of mat to go in my guy's kennel. Has anyone ever made one before? What do you use for the fill? what about the outside fabric? Do you think just a regular bed pillow would work? Thanks |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Do you mean mat as in bedding or something else? I use rugs and small throw blankets for bedding. Easy wash up and always have extras on hand.

| Depending on the size of your crate, I have gone to a carpet store and purchased (sometimes they will give them away) carpet samples. They are only about $1-$2 each. Then I put nice soft comfy blankets on top. The carpet gives an extra layer of cushyness. The carpet samples fit perfectly in the bottom. I don't use a crate so much anymore, but when I did, this worked pretty good. |

| I got mine from the kitty section. You would be surprised how much stuff I got for the dogs in that section. Most was the exact same thing. Majority time was cheaper as well. I think mine was about 10$ each. They came in pink & blue at petsmart.

| I bought the majestic pet crate mat from Walmart. The 24X18 fits up the sides of the girls airline type crates and makes it nice and comfy. I used to get them in store for less than $10 but now they are online for $16. Ziva's lasted over 4 years with constant washings and I replaced it only because it was getting thin. I liked the lighter color so I can see her at night. |

| I put linoleum in the bottom of the pen for easy clean up, then I had their beds in there with baby blankets. |

| I went to Walmart and bought the memory foam pad in their fabric section. I then went to their bedding section and bought a zippered pillowcase. Went home cut the foam to fit the crate, put it inside the pillowcase. Now my pups have comfy crate mat |
