| For the past couple years at Christmas, my BF's family gets us a huge container of the MilkBone Trail Mix. I wouldn't buy this stuff myself but I don't think it's TERRIBLE and the pieces are pretty tiny and a good size for a quick treat (we end up giving a lot of it away or throwing it out though because it doesn't get used quickly enough). We don't do a ton of treats like biscuits (we've been using the refrigerated FreshPet treats lately) so I'm not overly concerned about giving a tiny milkbone not even an inch long here and there...it's such a small part of their intake. I don't however like those huge ones they give you at the bank or that they have at the register at big pet stores and we normally pass on those. |

| When I was a toddler, I used to eat milk bones because of all of the pretty shapes and colors. The most annoying thing is that they all tasted the same! The ones shaped like hearts didn't taste any different from the ones shaped like a wedge of cheese. They didn't make me sick, and I have to say that I turned out quite well, if I do say so myself, LOL! But seriously, I think they contain too many empty calories for a small dog like a Yorkie, so I stick to low calorie treats for Bella. |

| Milk Bones and Pupperoni are nasty junk food. I would never give those to my dogs. Like letting your baby eat McDs. I hardly even give them any from the bag of Zukes we have. I prefer to give carrot, cucumber, ends of lettuce, tomato, etc whenever I am cutting up fresh veggies and fruit, which is several times a day. That is enough for a treat and they love it even more since it's something that I am eating too, they think it's great.

| I believe my girls would prefer green beans or lettuce ribs over Milkbone any day. I just don't buy treats and they are very happy to get bites of any veggies or approved fruits that I have.

| I found Chattiesmom on this site when I was looking for a harness. (She made Annie one that fits PERFECTLY!). I just received an order of "Yorkie Yummies" from Cindy and she has reformulated and reshaped them and did an awesome job!! Annie just loves these crunchy treats! I got the Squeak-N-Treat toy that Cindy makes too. She hit all the bells that Yorkies love. It Squeaks, Crackles and has a pocket on one ends to hide treats in. Annie has gone crazy over this and plays with it for hours! Everyone should try these!!! |
