Crystal Fabuleash

Hey guys!

Wondering if anyone's had any experience with the relatively new crystal Fabuleashes (they're the featured leash of the month on Fabuleash's website at the moment). I am seriously digging the fuchsia for Nilla, but I wondered if their construction is on the same level as the other beaded leashes since they look to be partly nylon instead of being held together by wire.

Nilla, and I know this is bad, likes to chew on the Fabuleashes moreso than her other leashes. I think it's because of the texture of the beading! I will tell her no and redirect her, but if she's feeling angsty in the car, she will just keep going back to gnawing over and over again (so I basically battle with her constantly if she isn't getting her way -- she's a spoiled brat, I tell you!). I'm not certain, but the beads look like they may be glued on these, so I wanted to do a little research before investing in case she chews the beads off and so forth. If they were faceted somehow, I would be more apt to jump in and get one.

The beads are strung on a steel cable that runs through the center of the length of the leash. Handles/grips are made of various materials based on which style you choose.

I see now. Looks like a standard nylon leash with crystals glued on, as you said. Probably wouldn't survive chewing.

Thanks, yeah, that's what I thought. Every now and then if I'm not moving fast enough for her liking she'll take a nibble at her other leashes, but she really likes to gnaw on the beads of Fabuleashes! I just know it's the texture. I'll steer away from this gluey direction in leashes -- thanks!

I have one of those leashes, will look at it more closely for you, I like the other style, except they are so dang short, I only use them to match a dress when we are at a pet event. I know you can not please everyone but it would be nice if they came at least a foot if not two longer, just about every other leash I own is longer. Do you sell them Kristen, if so maybe you can pass my suggestion on, I received mine at a show in NY
