| Best Products for grooming long coat recommendations please? I plan to grow George's hair long with the top knot. His hair is medium length now and growing - what are the best products to keep the hair in place - like a gel or hair spray? Also I am going to be getting a conditioner now. What are the best shampoo/conditioner you recommend? Setting spray/gel? Also for matting are there any products you recommend? Perhaps a detangler? He has two small matts I have been brushing out. Also, how often do you brush your little sweetie? I have been brushing him twice a day minimum. Thanks in advance. |

| I like and use Bio-Groom i usually use the oatmeal shampoo and the silk cream rinse conditioner and i also use the vita oil which is an absorbable coat oil concentrate which really help with tangling and matting and the conditioner and vita oil are concentrated so you can dilute them..Good Luck!! |

| I'm a fan of Crown Royale - that's what I use on my Lollie. She has a floor length show coat. I also like Coat Handlers and Minksheen products. These are definately my three favorite lines of doggie hair products. |

| I like IV San Bernard products for Rosie who has long hair. PEK conditioner is awesome. And can be used with other products. I also really like Yorkie Splash and Shine. Yorkie Sheen is my favorite detangler to use. It is also a great refresher between baths. I don't use a setting spray or gel. I usually keep Rosie's hair in scrunchies. Brushing is leaks in the morning and evening. Lots of times in the afternoon as well. I don't know what brush or OMB you are using but I am a fan of Madan.

| I like bio-groom and if you want to spend a little more, Les Pooches is an excellent product line.

| I have to disclose that I am a retailer of dog grooming products, but I do not sell all of my favorites. For my full coat boys, my favorites: 1. Bio-Groom Oatmeal Shampoo and Silk Creme Rinse (conditioner) 2. Les Poochs Botanique Hypoallergenic Shampoo and Creme Rinse 3. Vellus Show Shampoo and Conditioner, Satin Cream (for conditioning and thickening topknots), and Anti-stat brush spray 4. Isle of Dogs Coature line 5. Pet Silk shampoos, conditioner, topknot gel, Silk Serum (my favorite product for detangling, although it is meant as a coat dressing). And an arsenal of great brushes and combs.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Although this is the only shampoo that I have used on my yorkie, I defenitely reccomend it! I asked this question awhile ago and one of the shampoos reccomended to me was Espree. It was the only one on the list that was available at a chain pet store, rather than a groomer or online. This is the kind we got for Buddy, it smells really good, he has soft fur and it comes in a very nice sized bottle and will last a long time with a yorkie sized dog! Espree Natural Oatmeal Baking Soda Dog Shampoo at PETCO
