| What is the Best Shampoo to Use? This is my second Yorkie, my last of 10 years dies over a year ago so I am fairly new to being a new puppy mommie. My yorkie is currently 11 mths old but her hair is super fine, baby soft,.... she still has a few accidents in the crate in regards to being fully potty trained so a great shampoo that smells great and is good for her coat would be appreciated. Any suggestions? |

| I use a shampoo that was recommended here called Yorkiesplash & Yorkieshine conditioner. You order it online. My baby, Lucy, also has very fine fur - like hair. The shampoo doesn't lather up a lot but it cleans real well. I also got the detangler. Good luck. Tracey |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi! Congrats on being a new Mommy! :) Hi, Hope you are having a wonderful 4th of July! I'm a new puppy Mommy as well. I'm in love with Crazy Dog (Green Apple) Shampoo, & Grooming Spray for dogs! They have tons of scents & will be trying another one (coconut) next time! He has no tangles, & trust me he is a fuzz ball! He smells wonderful for about 2 weeks actually till he needs another bath. It lathers nicely & doesn't leave a dried out look in my opinion! I do use the grooming spray so that does help with all that as well. Good luck & enjoy your new puppy! |

| I am a shampoo/conditioner horder. I have tried lots. I have found what is best for one dog may not be best for others. I started getting sample sizes before I purchased. I know toplinepets.com has samples. Also Yorkietalk Splash and Shine too. Chris Christensen has a sample pack you can purchase. And I believe it is Bio Groom that will mail samples to you also. My personal favorites are Yorkie Splash and Shine and IV San Bernard. Hope you find one that works for you.
