| Play Pen? I'm starting to feel bad about leaving my baby in the crate for the day while I'm at work. It's not big but it's not small. enough room for him to stretch out and all that. However, my other little one gets to roam around and I'm sure it gets Jimmy a bit jealous. I want to get him a good play pen that has a top on it, I know he will be able to get out if there isn't a top. (I tried searching Play Pen on here but it would only search for the word "play") I was looking at this but someone commented that his little one was able to rip up one of the zippers without issue. Amazon.com: Best Pet Folding Play Pen - M - Burgundy: Pet Supplies Anyone have any suggestions?

| I started using Sea Breeze Petite Pens per recommendation of my breeder. We LOVE them. They are portable, sizable, and indestructable by little ones. Their website is http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...kwV1TiHHAQVW9Q

| Thanks for the link gidget, I was looking at the metal ones as well. I see one with a cover on it....hmm.... but NewYork, you're right too about the soft ones... Decisions decisions!! The soft one is so cost effective too...it's hard to decide. Still open for suggestions

| I actually have a play yard that is meant for a small toddler. It has 8 walls, and can be taken apart to make a small square, as small as 4 walls put together...hard durable plastic (like Little Tikes type stuff), slicks sides, she could never climb out of it and as she grows, I can keep adding walls to it to make it bigger. I do have a crate for when we travel and she sleeps in that in hotels or sometimes to change up the scenery at night I will put her in it. A play yard is the way to go....Sunny loves it! Bobbi

| My golden and all my yorkies where raised in a regular fisher price baby play pen. The golden loved his at 6 or 7 months old he was too heavy to keep lifting in. Out was easy because he would help by putting his front legs on your shoulders to get out. Only 1 of the yorkies can get out of it. She can jump into it from the floor. She is vert athletic. The others care less they just curled up and go to sleep. I still take it when I go on vacation so they dogs are safe and can't get into trouble in the hotel.

| That's an excellent price for that pen too. I may have to purchase it I'm sure he is going to like it a whole lot better than his crate!

| Well, I got the pen. Was 55 bucks more at PetSmart but I had to get it for the weekend. I am going to see how he likes it, which he hasn't so far so I left him in the crate this morning instead of the pen, but I really need it for Sunday. I will be returning it next week and may order the one on Amazon since it's is SO cheap! Jimmy just digs and digs at the walls. I imagine his little nails may get caught in it. I would hate to have to cart around a metal pen...I may try the child one from Toys R US too...hmmm
