Using Baby Shampoo on puppy Ok here goes lol I am a retired cosmetologist and I would not use baby shampoo of any kind on humans let alone on my furbaby. It is gentle to the eyes but one of the harshest shampoos on hair that is made. It will actually strip perms and color from hair. Just thought you all should know. I just requested samples of minksheen am anxiously waiting to try it. :animal36 |

I just received my sample from minksheen (quite speedy) and it worked quite well on my lil guy's fur. He has the "cottony" fur so i was please at how soft and shiny his hair turned out. Thanks for posting the suggestions! :) |

i found Hartz 3 in 1 conditioning shampoo is the greatest! It makes your pup smell wonderful! whatever fragrence you get it smells terrific, and if you let it sit for like 2 minutes on there coat it, there is not an ounce of the "wet dog" smell. Its perfect! i give it 5 stars. |

Thanks for the interesting thread on everyone's opinions! We have jsut developed a Yorkie shampoo and are looking in to making a conditioner. This thread helped a lot! Of course, I have tried averything, including Mink Sheen, Hartz, Baby Shampoo, etc and liked something about every one I tried, but not everything. |

Espree! I did not see Espree recommended in this thread yet. I love the line. My favorites are the Silky Show Shampoo and the Luxury Remoisturizer. This is a wonderful combination for bringing the best shine and silkiness to a Yorkie coat! I also have some of the Hypoallergenic Coconut Shampoo, which is naturally tearless, to use on the puppies. I like it too. The puppies are going to be soft no matter what at this age, but it seems to rinse out sell and leave them shiny and smelly fine! They have a special White Brightener for those with Maltese too! They are good about providing samples if you want to try before you buy. |

Oh Cheryl! Bella and Jack are just ADORABLE! Bella looks just like our Oprah! Even down to the floppy ears. :) The shampoo did wonders for Oprah's coat - the cottony coats sometimes get really frizzy, and difficult to manage. Here is a pic of Oprah after a bath and blow dry. I have samples of Bio-groom and I like it. Especially the Oatmeal fluffy puppy and the silk creme rinse. I ordered a sample of Minksheen though. I like how it has a bug repellent in there=) |
Has anyone ever tried the Botanical shampoo and conditioner flea therapy? It all natural and organic. I ordered some and I am going to try it tonight on my babies. |
Minksheen shampoo I called the company for the Minksheen shampoo and they sent it out right away, but sorry to say I didn't like it. It doesn't smell good at all,infact it has a nasty smell. I use coathandler shampoo and I love it. |
