| Last night we had our second opportunity to try the Thundershirt on Cooper. I woke up at 4am to severe thunderstorms and Cooper shaking in the corner. I put his Thundershirt on and he went back to the corner. I picked him up and put him in Max's crate, which sits adjacent to the bed. He never uses a crate but I figured he'd feel safe there. He sat up for a minute or 2 and then laid down and slept through the rest of the night. This shirt is amazing. Last time we had thunderstorms during the night I had to sit with him for hours holding him.

Thundershirt emailed me back right before I put in my order, and they said if he was between sizes, to get the smaller size. I'm pretty sure it'll be fine, Chase is about 14lbs I think, and he's got some longer legs. We had a tornado warning tonight, although it didn't hit us, we could hear thunder in the distance. He ran up and pawed at my legs so i would pick him up. I feel so bad for him, and it seems like he's getting scared more easily by them now. | |

| Do they make shirts for dogs that bark for any little sound like the doorbell, people talking in the yard or a laugh he doesn't recognize? Austin is killing me when he wakes everyone up during the night after hearing something. I'm ever a afraid to breathe, he might hear me exhale..LOL

| I just ordered a Thunder Shirt for Bogey. I found a coupon code and save $6! Can't wait for it to arrive. He's better since I started the Anxitaine but the storms still bother him some. I will report back once it arrive and I try it out on him. If it works like it did for Cooper I will be so relieved.

| Miki's Thundershirt arrived a couple of days ago. I ordered her the xxs and it fits her like a glove! She weighed in at 3.6 lbs the last time she was at the vet (if that helps anyone thinking of ordering one). I really haven't had an opportunity to try it to see if it's going to work yet. We've had rain, but not thunderstorms. I also want to see if it helps on the 4th of July. Miki totally freaks out with fireworks! Last year we were at a campground and everyone was lighting off fireworks.... she wanted to crawl inside me I think! Whenever she gets freaked out, she crawls up my neck. I finally had to turn in early and lay with her on the bed at the campground. I had scratch marks all over my neck from her! When I do get the opportunity to try it out, I'll report back. |

| I got a thundershirt for Winston and it is helping with not jumping on people when they come to the door. The next big step will help in the car and his car sickness. He always starts shaking, then gets sick to his stomach. I am keeping my fingers crossed it will help most with traveling. He seems to calm right down when I put it on him. I don't know how it works, just glad it does. ![]() |

| YT Addict | I just saw this today. :O Oh my, had I known there was something like this available I could've tried it on my huskies years ago. They are both gone now, but we tried everything for them and between thunder (we get serious boomers here in summer) and fireworks I had to keep a bottle of diazepam constantly on hand. Although this would make them sleepy, they would still freak out unless I sat with them and rubbed their bellies/chests...no amount of cooing or head petting would do, it was always the belly they wanted encircled! My younger dog would go to the fence and tear at it until his gums bled if I wouldn't stay with him. The older was just scared out of his mind and would either pace to exhaustion or get himself stuck under the porch. Thank God Jenna doesn't have trouble with loud noises. If she did I would order one of these post haste. Sounds like a miracle!

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I love reading the great reviews about this shirt! So cool. I bet you could use it for separation anxiety training too...as in, have the shirt on - leave for 30 seconds, come back, then leave for 1 minute etcetera.

| Tiki has a 17" chest and Niki is 19" around her chest. Tiki weighs 9 lbs and Niki is about 12 lbs. Tiki has a square squatty body and Niki is long, tall and lean. I figured I'd get one shirt to try on Niki since she's the one that gets car sick. |

| Ok. I ask because my boys both have around 17" chest and weigh 11 and 13 pounds. The small was much too large on both of them. I kept the XS.
