Quick Question Amy...What kind of backing do these have, like do they snap in the hair or are they rubber bands? Which kind would be best for my little one? Thanks.

All my bows come with the standard, 2 durable bands however I can add an alligator clip or barrette to any bow on the site.

As far as backing, it is a matter of personal preference... you have to consider the size, temperament, amount of hair, etc that your little one has - plus, of course, what you find easiest to use.

LOL...Its all good..lol..Foxy has very fine hair on her head, so still not sure what would be best? She tolerates bows, but I dont want anything too tight..

I haven't seen anyone make bows with these backs except for me (for my own little one and my baby niece), but these are GREAT! Especially for fine hair. I get them at walmart. I went on youtube and figured out how to make pinwheel bows, mostly for my new little niece, but they work for pup babies also. I stitch these clippies to the back and add a drop of hot glue.

I'd suggest a lightweight bow either with bands or alligator clip backing. I'd make a topknot (not too tight) with a grooming band & then attach the bow. The alligator clips I carry hold well on fine hair - I've tested them on just a few wisps of my Bella's hair and they stay put! Not sure if the slight added weight of a clip would bother your little one though. You would know that best.

Hi Kelly - I'm glad you're trying Darlin' Beaux's. 90% of Bridget and Greta's bows are from Amy - the other 10% is from before I knew her, and probably 30% or more are custom. I just e-mailed her pictures of the dresses or vests and say "Help!!" and she does an amazing job. If you search out my posts you'll see pictures of some of her work. I've never had a bow go soft, or come apart, and my girls can be hard on them when they forget that they're little ladies!
As far as dresses go - we have a lot of designers here, and they are all great - Most of my are from Prissy Paws - although I do have some new ones coming from Tinkerbells Closet, and have just found a new place called Lucky's Closet. I have also bought from a few others but these are my favorites - at least at the moment. Keep in mind that most of them are pretty busy and the wait can be long - (4-6 weeks sometimes) but they are made to your baby's measurements. Again - look at my pics because I post almost everytime the girls get something new (although sometimes I try to give everyone here a break and just post on my FB)

YT also has a YT Vendors feedback and review section you might like to look at Can never get enough good information!!! Personally I buy a lot of Bijou's dresses from Ashlee at Fairy Tails Fashion (YT Owned by Fiona) She's amazing to work with and the fit is awesome. For the superbowl she made Bijou a custom cheerleader dress, a hard service to find for sure! (Bijou's wearing one of her dresses in my avatar) and I also can say I love Sissy Angel Wear too!!!!! I've only purchased dresses from them so far so sorry can't speak on others...oh and bows I've purchased from BowBiz...she's awesome too to work with will find you just the bows you're looking for on her site or will custom make them We sure are spoiled by our vendors here on YT
