I just bathed my three for the first time using Minksheen. They came out beautiful but I don't smell a strong smell. Whats wrong?

I have used minksheen since last summer and found these things: Shake it well! It settles.
Since I have been putting it in a pump bottle (reused from hand soap) diluted 4:1 it does not smell as strong- guess I was using to much directly.
I rinse -rinse- and rinse-using a smidgeon of conditioner between my hands and smoothed over Ziva before her last two rinses. I don't need to condition Lucy (wheaten terrier) at all. Ziva's hair gets a bit to flyaway without the bit of conditioner down her back.

I finally received the Minksheen I ordered! Within an hour of opening the package, I had ZoE in the sink to give her a bath

. I actually like the smell! Very fresh, not too strong. It left her coat nice & silky feeling.

yikes! Why is shipping to Canada so expensive? I send packages to England from the States for less than that.

Who knows, I always check with the company before hand and thats what they say. Its by weight also. I found a play yard for my baby.....$39.99 and $30.00 to ship here. I don't get it! I can't even get a cloud nine bed from the yorkie rescue as it will cost too much to ship. Maybe I should just go on a road trip and pick it all up at once

Road trip sounds like a perfect solution! Although at today's gas prices you'll probably spend in gas what it would cost you in shipping

But at least you'd have a nice lil shopping trip and could stock up

I love Minksheen -- while I would prefer it with no smell too, it IS the smell which repels fleas and I love that about this shampoo! I have not used any Frontline Plus for over a year and never had any fleas at all!

That is a lot of nasty chemicals avoided! So, I will just suck it up and take the smell. After a while, I don't even find it that bad. Guess I am getting used to it or maybe it is just not as potent after you've had it a while. It sure leaves a pretty shine to their coat!

I used the direct site Touch of Mink - The Most Incredible Skin Care Products Available at any Price for my second order and found their customer service to be wonderful! I had bought my first order from a re-seller and got a watery bottle. The other products for humans are great too, ask for a first time customer sample!

I have never seen it at our local Petco. I haven't checked Petsmart but I think you will probably have to order it. You can get it through amazon.com.
