| Thanks everyone for your input! My friend and I are looking into starting an online pet supplies store. I hope to hear from even more members of YT. You've given me some great ideas. Thanks

| Hmmmmm confused, I wanted to say a better agility play area dog walk LOL! Most of everything I see listed here is what my local pet store offers, I know I'm a bragger-of course I shop at three different stores, one being a "farm store" with a domestic pet shop in it...but just for giggle the only things the local store didn't carry that we needed were a memory foam (Visco elastic foam-generic tempurpedic) dog bed and dog socks.. (well no I also bought Maden combs via YT because the pin brush combs at the local store were too pokey...they were triple the price too) http://fin-n-feather.com http://www.thefarmstore.net

| -Good selection of Premium dog foods -Good treats (Itty bitty Buddy biscuits ) -Cute clothes in "normal sizes" (the only ones left are usually the tiny ones) -Cute clothes for BOYS, too! -good brushes and combs (Madan, CC) -Stuff for ME, TOO!! (hair accesories, earrings, necklaces, nice shirts and sweatshirts...not the cheap breed t-shirts) -SAFE bathwipes and shampoos..... (also eye-wipes that don't say "keep out and away from eyes)..... that is CRAZY!!... why bother?) -a classy selection of dog tags..... maybe some with bling, but not too heavy. - Name brand carriers I sure I could come up with a few more things..... but here's a few that I can come up with right now.

How about Xpens with a bit of flare or design. They are all so boring - wire in bland colors. How about a picket style xpen? The outward or outbound pooch. Camping gear for your pet.

| I am lucky to have a petsmart and a a pet supplies plus(which has a lot of high quality foods) and i have a local pet shop and a boutique so i am not in need for much but i would like to get -high quality foods -good quality clothes -carriers -interactive toys -refills for the interactive toys -good grooming supplies all in one location for a reasonable price instead of having to run all over town and pay a small fortune

| One thing I'll recommend for on line selling is low shipping cost! I hate and often don't buy from some vendors because the shipping is too high. I'd rather wait a little longer to get my items than pay twice as much to get it a few days earlier.

| Everyone has made some great suggestions for products. I would love to see every pet store with an animal lost and found bulletin board and a place for flyers near their entrances. When someone finds a dog they may go there for food and supplies.

| I would love to find SAFE ceramic food/water bowls and safe toys made in the USA, so I don't have to worry about paint and bleeding dyes!

| Oh books! Yes reputable books...so many books out there (why were so many written in the 70's-?) carry misinformation and seem to be written by fly-by-night type writers who don't actually have first hand knowledge etc... Personally I have previewed so many books that have some pretty ludicrous information in them and worry some people grab it off the shelf and then follow the advice in the book just because it in print and published...

| I have been looking for a mesh harness forever. I've been to all the pet stores and can only find them in larger sizes. I don't like the one I have because it is 2 pieces and not even my 13 yo can put it on him. It's just a pain. I would like to have a 1 piece harness that's easy to put on. But none of the local pet stores here have them. : (
