Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Does anyone have/understand this robe? So, I don't understand this robe, lol . I bought this off of eBay, for after-bath bc Marcel and Pfeiffer get so cold, even after their blow dry. Does anyone else have this robe? The material is just plush, and the tie goes around the chest/belly. But those 'front flaps/pockets/arms' -- what the heck? Their arms can't go INSIDE the flaps, bc the flap pockets are on the wrong side of the robe (the outside of it). The flaps have no velcro/buttons to connect the flaps, for example, under the neck area (which might be cozy). Never thought there would be a day where I couldn't understand a robe .

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Ann...are you putting it on upside down? In other words if you turned it over...the flap would be on the inside. Or maybe you could google the name and see it modeled on a dog somewhere?

The tag is on the inside of it, and the rings for the robe-tie are on the outside of too, so it seems to be right according to that. I keep thinking those "flap-pockets" were meant to be sewn in the inside of the robe, so you could tuck their paws into those pockets and cuddle them.

| I'm thinking from the pictures that the flaps are meant for human hands to rub the dog dry?

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Well, that does look odd ... I could never get robes to work for me - my dogs just squirm around to much after a bath -- all they want is to go run and "crash" onto everything. They all hate the blow dryer and don't have the patience for towel drying so I use fleece snuggle sacs for drying! It's great because the fleece is soft and naturally whisks moisture away from the body - so once they are done in the tub - they go right into a sac to dry a bit!

| After Bath That robe looks like a trick puzzle to me! I wouldn't have a clue! My dogs are so nuts after their bath! It's so cute. Then when they calm down, they shivver. I have a special towel, a little larger than a hand towel that has dogs on it. They see that towel and get excited because I put it in the microwave for 35 seconds then wrap them in it. They cuddle and burry their head in it. I probably warm it 2-3 times and then they're dry, calm and ready for grooming. |
