I saw some boots/slippers at Petco today and they wanted $29.99!!!!! And they weren't anything fancy.

OMG, those are SO cute. I don't even wear slippers, but I may have to start. I see a trip to PetCo in my near future.

Actually, the nearest one is probably about an hour's drive away. Remember, in a dense city, it takes a lot longer to go short distances. And no, it's not in the city proper.

I have a faint memory of being in the one that's closest by, and if I'm remembering correctly, it was incredibly depressing. It was a huge store with almost no inventory and a skeleton staff. It looked like it was going out of business.

Not knowing where you live, I did a location search via their website; there were several in suburban areas.

Yeah! I know about densely populated areas. Traveling from Huntington Beach to Long Beach in rush hour traffic (11 miles from my front door to my office) took me 45 minutes.

LA's a whole other ball of wax.

I grew up there and I love it, but I know I'd never be able to live there again. I can't deal with spending that much time in the car.

They are too cute, and I loved hearing the stories of everyone's babies attacking them.

I want to go look at them in person. If they have soles that can be worn outside, I would sooo love that.

My husband brought me home a pair today. Yes, they do have soles, but they are light weight rubber soles and the fur touches the ground. I wouldn't recommend wearing them outside.

My dogs only were curious about them, they didn't attack like they did the others.

Thanks for letting me know. They are soo cute, I may try to find a pair for my daughter and myself even though we can't wear them outside. I'm still in need of some good outside slippers for those early mornings letting the dog out. (:

Ugg puts out a very good slipper that stand up to outside. A bit pricey, but they last forever.
