| Using Baby Sling! :) So I was scrambling to find something comfortable for Piper and I in preparation for the Austin Ice Cream Festival tomorrow. It's dog friendly so we're going to take her for a bit. I had read about people using baby slings or something similar. I had looked online and saw they were upwards of $40 or so and didn't really want to spend that. After looking at PetCo and Target, all they had were hard carriers. I thought about a purse, but wasn't quite sure that would be "breathable" enough for her, even if she could stick her head out. So, I sprinted to the baby aisle and found the sling I wanted ON SALE! YIPPIE! It was $20 and I snagged the only pink one in S/M! Here's the brand I bought... Munchkin Jelly Bean Reversible Sling - Cappuccino Sky : Target So I got home and tried it out and it works GREAT! Granted, it hangs lower than I had wanted, but I'm going to have someone trim the excess fabric off and sew it so that she sits higher and closer to my chest, rather than my tummy. To be honest, it sorta feels like she's going to fall out but she won't. It just takes some getting used to for me. So far, she LOVES IT. I've attached some pics |
