I had a larger order about a month ago that took a little longer. I wondered if something was backordered or being sent from a different warehouse.

See, I wondered about that. This vet (which isn't the one that I really like) made sure to tell me to use the WHOLE tube on each dog. Max is 12 pounds and even Mia gained weight to 7 pounds - I wonder if that makes a difference.

Also, do you think I need to put this on them for more than a month?

I don't want to even think about how much I pay for a years worth of heartworn and flee and tick meds for 4 dogs (advantix and interceptor). I'll never be able to retire!

No I think if you put it on them several days before you leave they should be covered during your trip and for a couple of weeks afterward, especially if you don't normally need to use it at all. Just one application should be plenty.

CJ - I just wanted to reinforce what others are saying here - I love EntirelyPets ! They are fast and have nice prices. Also, once they made a little mistake on my order so I called them - and their customer service is top-notch...which is really nice to know.

I get "free shipping" codes from them all the time, so that's a bonus as well.

I pay about $130.00 per year to treat 4 dogs and 3 cats for fleas, ticks, and Heartworm. My vet sells me the gargantuan size for 6 months (85-130 lbs). I think I can get almost 2 years out of it actually. Oh and I use Revolution, because it's one chemical, instead of 2 or more different chemicals as when using two separate products. With the money I save, I can afford to test for heartworms more frequently to be sure the product is working.

Thanks for all the suggestions on where to buy from. I will look into Entirely Pets - I think I have ordered from them before. Every little bit helps - especially when you have multiple dogs.

jacquelinebabco - I know what you mean about not being able to retire... that's why I giggle when I see these kids wanting Yorkies - not that all breeds don't need the vet care and grooming etc. but I think Yorkies, Maltese and Biewers tend to be a tad more expensive and I'm not talking clothes!

BonBon - good... if I only need one tube per dog then I can take back one box. That's $53 I can use on Max - he has to go in for his teeth cleaning & shots when we get back.
