| Petote Metro Dog Carrier I have been wanthing this Petote Metro Dog carrier for over a year now but its sooooo expensive. It costs $440+ more close to $500. I really like the discreet dog bags that look like purses. I already have the Kwigy bo Alex carrier in black. That ones discreet and nice, but it is a little chunky. I have the large size bc my yorkie is about 7lbs and that fits her nicely. Well I just recently stumbled upon this Metro bag ive been wanting for $375 total. Thats the cheapest ive ever seen it run b/c it still runs amost $500. I'm pretty sure I will end up buying it but a little encouragement is nice. It has two small mesh windows on the side like the kwigy bo alex and roll up flaps above it so the dog can stick its head out if you want. The top of the bag is a mesh window that zips shut. Heres the description: "Made with designer Italian leather. Faux fur bedding. Long leather handle. Three mesh windows. Lined with waterproof nylon. Two deep outside pockets. Gold plated hardware. Option to carry two small dogs. Made in the USA. On flight approved in size small." Small: for pets up to 10 lbs., 17" x 6.5" x 9" I only wish it had the option of covering the side window all the way down b/c with the Alex bag i usually keep the bag window shut so ppl wont see her, but i can easy put like a lil blanket in the back of the bag so ppl wont see her. I just looooooooooove the look and style of this bag. it sounds sooo luxurious. Check out the pix below.... http://petote.com/splash_update3.jpg |

| I have this one available- METRO Posh Pink Carrier by PETOTE I can get the others as well. I love the Petote carriers. The brooklyn is very discreet like the kwigy bo bags. Let me know if you have any questions about these carriers. |

| thx dvlshangel. i know its sooo expensive. i wish they sold them in stores so i could see it in person... thx poochieheaven. I actually bought my kwigy bo from you last year. i really like the metro style, but i want the quilted frost color... i didnt see that color on your site. that color is harder to find. i think they discontinued that color thats why. I like solid color bags bc u can match with outfits better. |

| You and I have the same taste! It's a very cute and I love solids or simple patterns. The bag in the link was cute too, I just have no fashion sense and wouldn't know how to use it. I'll stick to my black Alex bag.

| I've been watching the Petote Metro in Midnight!!! I seen it in person in VA Beach and it was 500, but it's much bigger that I thought it'd be. I'm still madly in love with this bag though and I've gotten other carriers to try and take my mind off of loving the Metro, but they just don't compare. If I had the $$$ saved up I'd so get it! Can you return it if you don't like the size?

| ya i wish i could see it in person bc its sooo hard to tell the size. thats what im worried about that itll be huge. but i dont want it too small either. i live in seattle and i dont think any of the pet stores carry it here. then i started to debate if i wanted the quilted frost or the caramel color, but i only found the frost on sale. so frost it is. they do accept returns within 30 days but they will deduct shipping costs and 10% of cost... so if i did return it, itd prob cost me like $50. ya usually they do run almost $500 everywhere ive seen them, thats y i was surprised to find it for $375. well i found it $389 but they have a 5% off discount code and shippings only $5, so total comes to $375. the black one is still expensive though. that ones more discreet looking but i already have a black. |

| Have you tried looking at the Petote site and seeing if any stores in your area sell it? That's what I did. I drove about 45 minutes to VA Beach to look at it and it was so worth it! I'll get a small instead of the large now....when I get it that is...LOL I wish they'd come out with a medium size too, it's so weird that they don't. I'll tell you that the large is that large...it reminded me of a very large diaper bag. Also, the owner of a local doggy boutique here who sells the fabric (cheaper) Petote bags told me in March that Petote was coming out with a cheaper Spring/Summer line and to watch the site...well, I haven't seen it yet, but keep hoping! Good luck and post pics if you get it!!!

| oh thx for the info gennies.. i keep trying to check the petote site but everytime i go to find a retailer it freezes. ill try tomorrow. oh its the large size u saw? i thought u meant the small size looks really large. well i think the small is kind of their medium size, b/c they come in petite, small and large. i actually have seen fabric petotes online. thats prob what she is telling you about. they dont have as much bling, like no heart, key/lockpad... oh ya they are on the petote site called metro classic. but they are still like $250... or maybe shes talking about the pink one above like poochieheaven posted. hmm well ill try checking again tomorrow... i was actually about to put my order in and i saw your post how i can find a retailer. yay. i didnt even think of looking at their site for that. i saw lots of celebrities use petotes.. they must be good quality. |
