Hammer seems to get stains from the little hairs that get in his eyes. I try to always give him a top knot. Plus I switched from Royal Canin to Wellness and that seems to help a lot.

I have read that while they are teething they can tear more than normal. You may just want to wait until all his teeth are in and see if it improves. My Lyric has a wet face all the time right now too (12 weeks old). And I'm going to wait until she has all her teeth before doing anything.

Im sure you can pic it up at Petco or Petsmart or online. My Mentor uses it and when I bathe her dogs I use it and it softens any debris or dark stains fast. Just put it in their eyes and no need to rub. When you comb thier face area it comes right out. Good Luck...
