| yorkie blankets I am curious, are all yorkies blanket lovers? Should I invest in some smaller blankets for my Karma? I see a lot of pictures of them curled up with blankets. And clothes.. is this for your pref or do they get cold? Karma loves blankets. She would rather lay in my blanket then in my lap if I have the blanket off of me. but in bed she always lays ON TOP of my blankets and as soon as I cover her up in bed, she moves. but she likes to lay as close to my body as possible but like i said on top of the blankets. right now she is curled up in a tiny ball on the back of my chair pushed into the pillow and my knit jacket. do they prefer a type of fabric for their blankets? I love making fleece tie blankets, would this be a good fabric for her?

| Mine will always choose a spot ontop of a blanket... the softest blanket...on top LOL or on a pillow The fluffier the better

| Fleece blankets are always a good choice. My kids LOVE fleece -- they rob my scrap basket all the time and then make pile up on them. |

| Yorkies don't have fur, so they can get cold. That being said, my Chi was always freezing I think! He was always under the covers, right next to me. Gunnar sleeps on top of the covers and only gets under in the early morning for a few minutes (like a warm up). Donna

| after I wrote this Karma and I headed to bed (dh had gone to bed and Karma felt it was time for us to go as well lol) well she did her usual roll around and play for a few minutes with me mouthing my hand and pawing at me, then she curled up in my arms UNDER the covers! i think she has just been getting used to me, cause the first night she started out at the foot of the bed and has moved her way up my body each night. i love my baby girl! i will have to make a trip to the fabric store and pick out some cute prints in fleece!

| Molly likes a fleece blanket, and usually digs at it till it is in a pile, then sleeps with her head on it like a pillow! If i take any clothes off and throw them on the bed, Molly loves to curl up in the middle of them!

| Pixie loves her fleece blanket. Matter of fact she has two. One in her crate and the other one is on top of our blankets on our bed. She'll curl up in at at night and we'll toss some of it over her and she just cuddles down and sleeps their until our alarm goes off in the morning.

| Fleece is great! You don't even have to hem the edges unless you want to make it fancy. They dry so quickly that I don't even put them in the dryer after washing. I make little fleece wraps for my pup to sleep in because she does not like going under covers either.

| Mine love their fleece blankets but have left those behind for this minky, silky fleece. This fabric is sooo soft to the touch - it's amazing. If you can sew you could put this on one side and regular fleece on the other. Fabric By The Yard - Snail Poodle Minky Fabric
