| It didn't work for me. It can get hot here in Los Angeles and Jinx likes a little bit of shade if I'm walking further than she can. She's about 5 lbs. too. When she gets tired she just wants me to pick her up and then she lays down in the doggie purse or she sits up in it. It is convenient in that it also holds her water bottle and mine, her poop bags and a small walet. She sits up in the bag while I walk that way she can still see everything around us while she takes a break from walking. |

| I have not tried the sling. I do have this outward bound pet carrier and if she isn't on leash or in a stroller, this is where she is. We both love it for particular situations. petaroopetcarrier.jpg Good luck!

| i bought this for Harley-Quinn... she really seems to enjoy it when I pull it out she jumps right into it... oh yeah she is 3lbs and her mom is 5 lbs and also loves to cradle herself right in to the sling... So i would recommend it...

| I have the Outward Hound sling, Sophie LOVES it. I use it a lot when I take her to the Farmers Market or Flea Markets, it frees up my hands yet allows me to keep her close. There is a clip in the sling that you attach to the dogs harness so they can't jump out.

| I have the sling too and really like it a lot. It keeps my hands free and I even have one that I lined with FUR!
