Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | DNA Testing I have seen a lot of sites that will test the DNA!! I also have a yorkiepoo and would like to have my little girl tested to see if this is what she really is. I thought maybe someone would be able to help with some of the confusion??? Thanks Mary

| they sell the kits in petco/petsmart and also walgreens, rite aid and the like from time to time. i've heard negative things from my friends who've tried the kits - apparently they can only identify certain breeds and some reports come back as unidentifiable |

| I can't help you with the confusion.... But, I did receive a DNA kit for my birthday present this summer. (Bought if off the internet.) Not sure how acurate they are, because they cannot test all breeds. However, we had a great time testing our little girl (that we found on the streets) and found out she was mostly a Min Pin. So, it was worth it to me.

That is all I really wanted, it does not have to be hundred percent. I just wanted to register her as a mixed breed with the AKC. I been told she is a yorkiepoo and wanted to see how accurate it is. She does look more yorkie in the face, but she has the curly hair. Thank you for responding Lisa, I guess any will do then for the testing! Mary & Tiffany & Chanel

| Oh, it sounds like you will have fun testing, too. My advice is to google, DNA tests, and see which one is the least expensive. Here is the one we chose this fall. Have fun and can't wait to find out your results. Vivi's DNA Certificate.jpg

I did not bother to search, this one looked good to me. Your puppy is very cute on the DNA test. It said to send picture after I get the test. I will keep you posted!! I will make sure I friend request. Hugs Mary

Really I just want to make sure when I call her a yorkiepoo that I am getting it really close. Agility does that not sound like so much fun!!!! They are both pretty fast, but the poodle in Channel it very picky when she wants to do trick. I am not sure if it is toys or food that motivate her. I always find people who as questions are always trying to learn something new, nothing wrong in that. Hugs Mary
